Ken, looks like some nice equipment you have. Are you setting up for a community event?
Well, we still have a water leak, it's a lot better then it was but still losing to much, we are at 19% loss now. I sure thought we would be better then that.
About 10 years ago I decided I was just too old to light and run away from fireworks over and over so I got all fancy. Now i can sit up with everyone 150 yards away while enjoying a adult beverage and enjoying the fireworks. Hehe.
This equipment and fireworks are just for my wife, kids and maybe a family or 2 that we'll invite over and keep it small. We used to do an open invite for my wife's side of the family and then 80+ people would show up and stay for 3-7 days and I shut that down! It was just too much for me and took all of the fun out of it.
I'll definitely be keeping all of my fingers where they are but I might get a couple finger cramps pushing buttons.
Welp I just got back up to the house and I'm going to take a 4 hour power nap before going back down to the barn. I've got to take advantage of this motivation streak I'm having getting stuff done!
Tasty Taco Tuesday Washington, Tim, Ken, Wayne, Ken, Steve, Bud and all the crew. This morning bright hot sun, headed to 90°, RH dropping to below 50%, and a nice all day breeze to make it comfortable in my woods.
Ken, with 3 fire controls, I would say you are going to light off a bunch! Over the years, I have helped with many a setup and fire off the pyrotechnics. 2 Friends I helped were Professionals and traveled the country doing displays. Helped them some with setup and load on the trucks.
Jim, sorry you still have large leak but hope you find it. 19% on a small system is pretty significant!
Evening Tim and Ken. Ken, enjoy your fireworks. Sounds like a decent showing!
Tim, sorry about the extent of the leak. Kind of unexpected wasn't it!
I finally finished off the tomato plot for now. Also got the asparagus tied up. Here's a pic of my tomato patch with asparagus in the background and some horseradish behind that.
Good morning WA...Happy Hump Saturday!!! Gonna be yet another splendiferous day here...the last one before the humidity returns. Hope MA Nature is treating you just as well!!!
Bummer about the leak Tim...especially after all the work you guys put in. Back to the drawing board I guess!!!
Steve...great looking tomato patch...you supplying the whole town???
Happy Hump (Kens) Saturday Washington, Tim, Ken, Steve and all the crew.
Steve, if those tomato plants come on all at once, you will be knee deep in them!
Tim, if you have several main line shutoff, you can do an old fashion test to isolate the leak. Listen at each main line shutoffs with a broom handle and see if you hear water flow. Shutting off taps and valves should let you isolate the leak section.
