Good question Tim! I have always really been into fireworks and I guess I would be called a hobbyist or a fireworks pyro. We always have a really big show on the 4th and a big short show on new year's.
Years ago I got involved with a group of local hobbyists and we get together to buy in bulk and use our buying power to buy wholesale at the higher discount tier. There are a couple guys in the group that have retail stands on the reservation but my stuff is just for private use.
I've been working on getting my permits and licenses for the pro stuff so I should be able to get that before new year's display.
It takes me a bit sometimes to put things together, but we have had this conversation before if I'm not mistaken. You are the Ken that was here at my house 4 or 5 years aren't you?

We are nowhere close to being done here but I could only get a 30 day Visa when I got here, no extensions, one time only in a year. Mine expires the 2nd so I fly out the 2nd at 12:30.
By the looks at your post it looks like a good thing that your done. Are you headed home or off to some other far away location?

Yup yup that was me! Wow was that really 4-5 years ago already? I still talk to my wife about how much I enjoyed our visit and all the work you guys have put into your amazing property.

Yes I am taking some time off. I've been running since February of 23 so I need it. We'll get home Tuesday, 2 July in the afternoon then we leave for family reunion (Cousin Camp as that side of the family call it) the 15th over by Yellowstone.
Sensational Sunny Saturday morning Washington, Tim, Wayne, Eric, Ken, Ken and all the crew.
Thanks for reminding me about the Signature and yes I have plenty of things on the agenda to get done in my stare time after the Honey Do List items are checked off!
I have been notified that laundry, cleaning and more cooking is now my duty. She said dishes is her thing but it I am cooking I will be doing the dishes, so everything is clean to cook with! HUM, I may want to rethink my retirement strategy!
Out to mow and weed eat this morning while it isn't too bad out. 82° and headed to 92° with plenty of hot sun. Maybe a severely needed afternoon storm and then I hope the Soothsayers crystal ball predictions are correct with rain and storms early evening to Sunday afternoon. We are shot about 2-3 inches of rain this month!
Starting the day at 65° on its way to the mid 80s.
Rod, sounds like the honey do list alone is going to keep you busy.
My wife wants to start doing some of the household stuff, I haven't did laundry in 30 years. I do the dashes sometimes, I'm not much of a cook, so I don't do much of that. I hope she never reads your post.
