Fantastic Friday morning Washington, Jim, Nikolas, Wayne, Ken and all the bike crash survivors. Remember it is the Weekend Eve and almost time to party, so either ride the bike or drink and not Both!
Worst for me was a Hill climb event on a stretched out 500 Triumph. I made the last 100 feet to the top of the hill but sadly the bike didn't. After it was all over the witnesses recanted the events which to this day are very sketchy. The front tire came down in a rut made by a previous bike or 2 and my biked stopped and I didn't. That was about 1000 and my next recollections of the day was about 1600. Can some ring the bell, stop the fight! KO 'ed and concussion had me in slow motion for a week. It catapulted me up the hill about 100 feet. I had a nice Bell helmet, and it broke into 4 pieces on impact and talk about road rash on the face, right arm and chest! I recovered and the bike was rebuilt, and we climbed again.
It will be another hot dry day in my woods at 92°, full hot sun, light breeze and no rain. Boy do we need the rain.
Good morning WA...and...wandering enthusiasts...Happy Weekend Eve!!!
Tim...any word on the water leak...or...have you given up???
It's still leaking, and I haven't given up, but haven't went back to work on it either.

Those bikes are fast, I've never ridden one but have heard lots of stories.

I've never hill climbe. I've never even heard of a hill climb event out west. They probably have them just not close to my neck of the woods. It looks like a sure fire way of destroying equipment though.
Afternoon Tim, and Climbs were and still are pretty big here I started back in the early 70's and had to quit in the late 80 due to family concerns! Yes, you can mess up some bikes. Did the Motocross some back in the day and I messed up a few bikes then as well. I never broke bones other than some ribs and fingers. But Motocross did see me dislocate both wrists, but not at the same time!
Good morning WA...Happy Saturday For All...gonna be a wet morning here...Flood Watches for 3/4 of the state...hope MA Nature is taking good care of you!!!
Good sunny Saturday Washington, Tim, Nikolas, Ken, Steve and all the crew. It will be another hot day in my woods at about 96° and bright hot sun.
Steve, I ache and remember many of the incidents that have caused them.
It sounds like a trip to town day with the wife for the Mail at the Post office, feed store and I am sure the grocery store and eat out somewhere in there.
I hope everyone had a great Weekend Eve Party and didn't overdo it and saved a little for tonight!

No flood watches going on here, it would be nice to have some rain but not enough for floods. I raced Motocross back in the late 70's, no triple jumps, no back flips, no exotic moves.
Starting the day a little cooler this morning at 67° but the smoke rolled in last night and we had to shut the house up again.
Fortunately no smoke here, just plain hot. 97 at 11:30am, expecting 104 by this afternoon. No rain in sight and nothing under 100 in the 7 day forecast. But hey, it's summertime.
Good evening Washington, Tim, Wayne, Nikolas and all the crew.
No hint of flooding here but I guess if we would have had some rain in the last month we could possibly have a flooded pothole in the road!
No smoke either but it was hot enough in the sun for me to spontaneously combust! 96°, skin searing sun, index of 101° and hot a breeze! I went out to sit out with Wifey and lasted 2 minutes and thought I would Flame On!
Stay in Stay cool stay hydrated and stay safe.
Now to figure out dinner that won't heat the house up!
