You are one very sick individual. I have seen more than my share of those trucks. When I first got out of the Navy I drove a service truck for them guys. You would be surprised by what people do to these trucks all because they don't own them.
Evening Tim, Wayne, Ken and Eric. Humidity is higher than the temp! Not too fun.
I never used to cook to much but since my Mrs. has been so hindered off and on the last few years, I have become a fairly decent cook. Not by choice but I try to do well. My wife said, it seems like cooking is one of your passions. I told her that my passion was taking care of her, and I just liked eating!
Finally got the little tool to adjust the carb on a Husqvarna trimmer, what a racket.
Joyous Sunday morning Washington, Tim, Eric, Wayne, Ken, Ken, Steve and all the crew. yesterday was steamed crab day in WV. 94°, 66%rh, bright hot sun, a steamy southern breeze and then we had a brief but needed rain, and the temperature dropped to 81° and the RH went to 99%! Can anyone say Outdoor Sauna!
We have both worked shift work all our working careers, so we have shared the chores. I love to cook and for many years did half of the cooking and for a while I did all the cooking and better than half the housework. It keeps me busy and not laying around getting fat'er!! LOL
Dinner last night.
Fried cabbage, smoked sausage and mashed tatars!
I hope Ma Nature is kind and everyone has a blessed day!
Evening Tim, It was very good and easy to make. Tonight, I will be having cut up veggies, pepperoni and crackers with a homemade spicy ranch dip.
Tomorrow, I think I will be making my one skillet TexMex! Pictures to follow!
Evening Tim and Rod. I have been cooking here still of course. I made some fair salads today! I also cooked up some turnip greens in chicken broth with a double dollop of bacon grease. The best greens I have had in years. I grilled a few spareribs to go with them. Only trouble is that I get full so quickly as compared to younger days! I think my stomach teeth are worn out just like the rest of me!
Good Sunday evening, gentlemen, nothing too much to report from here. Trying to get some things done in the shop and clean up some room to work on fun stuff again. The wife whipped up a broccoli salad and chopped up some chicken to go with it, with a handful of sweet potato chips on the side. Pretty good stuff for just throwing some things together.
It was another glorious day on the refuge. Temps in the upper 80's, low humidity, comfortable to be outside. I thought I'd share some summer sunset colors as the big ball of fire set over the refuge property across the street. Enjoy.
Joyous July One Washington, Tim, Wayne, Eric, Ken, Steve Ken and all the crew.
Wayne, that looks like a beautiful end to June. Love them pictures you post of the land sky and landscape.
Tim, I ***-U-Me you have the water system on order and leak free. Now you can concentrate on the farm and garden.
June ended in my woods as a spectacular top ten evening. The temperature dropped to 79°, light breeze that was almost cool, humidity dropped to 49% and the sun was partly blocked by the trees while setting out front and watching a Doe and her 2 Fawns play. This morning, to start July we started at 60° and headed to about 78°, plenty of sun, a nice breeze and the RH is 67% (down 32% this time yesterday) and dropping.
I have some outside work and then inside to do my Domestic Househusband Chores!
I hope everryone has a great start to the month. OH, and I consider this the first day of Re-Retirement considering it would have been the first work day!
Rod, I believe we have the water leak fixed and all meters are installed. Today is meter read day, I will know for sure if have enough of the leaks repaired to satisfy the state. The state wants/requires no more then 10% loss, we were at 24% right after all the meters were installed.
Started the day at 63° and windy, the wind has calmed down now and it's on it's way up to the high 80s today.
