Morning Chris, and all to follow. Beginning to look like 2020 down this way with the fires. Friday the smoke was getting bad, but since then the wind has been blowing the other way. Started getting the emergency notices on the phone, but its moving away from us right now.

My partner and I are taking a retired LEO (Washington County S.O. and King City Chief of Police) crabbing tomorrow and Salmon Fishing on Wednesday. Thursday and Friday the Warden has medical appointments and someplace in there I have to find out of dear sister is back from Montana and points elsewhere on her 3-1/2 week trip to a trail ride and dog shows out of state. We need to get on the folks estate and get the Farm and Ranch cleared out.
O.K., well Murphy is at it again. Maybe I won't be going fishing on Wednesday after all.
This sucks! Just now got a call from the D.A.'s Office back in the Valley. They want me to appear in Court on Wednesday morning at 0830. It never changes. Even before I retired, they were always springing last minute stuff on us - and they are still doing it. Just barely a 2 day notice for a hearing? A fellow we convicted on multiple Felony Charges has requested a hearing to have his convictions expunged or at the least reduced from Felony to Misdemeanors. The new liberal "get out of jail free" laws our wonderful liberal legislators passed are coming home to haunt us. The 'very nice and confused member of society tried this a couple of years ago and failed because of existing laws. Now those laws have been changed. A case of Felons cheering on the sidelines preparing their relief motions while the laws are still being debated in the state house.
The second and BIGGEST problem with this is that my partner and I are supposed to be Salmon Fishing Wednesday morning with the Retired Chief of Police from King City. What part of R-E-T-I-R-E-D is it that these people just don't seem to understand? I won't carry this rant any further for fear of getting to deep into the weeds of politics........but it sucks buttermilk. Rant Concluded.
I shall now return to my "happy place". Shooting Bench at the Rec Cabin. Long story short, it was a home made gift to the gun club and they had no use for it. Brought it up it up this trip. It gets an "assist" with the disposal of 3 Sage Rats yesterday. And yes, one of my many projects will be to blast all of the decks off at the Rec Cabin and refinish them.
