And yes, I know what time it is. The Warden had surgery yesterday and they made me bring her home last night instead of keeping her until tomorrow. Gues who is getting to play nurse, get medications every 3-4 hours and then wait for the pain med to take effect before he can go back to bed?
Things have settled down now and the meds are taking affect. See ya in about 3 hours.
This doesn’t include unreported home testing and self quarantine like my friend did. I was surprised to see an exposure/self quarantine calculator on the CDC website.
It's a soggy, wet morning here @ 58.1. I have a table saw and the wood stove in the the back of the Root Beer. Covered with a tarp. I need to get the blower motor off of the stove and then it goes to the metal recyclers. I forgot I had a few cardboard boxes in the back of the 96. Got them moved to the garage and cab of the pickup, but not before they got a little soggy. They should dry out and if not, we have plenty of others.
Meds - check
Ice pack - check
Kevlar Vest - check
Helmet - check
The doctor told the Warden that she wasn't going to like him very much for the next two weeks. He never mentioned that I might be included in that.
#4 on the list Chris. I have a couple of police riot helmets, 2 police Motorcycle helmets, although one of those has been purple hearted, and my steel pot from the military. Kind of partial to my military steel pot. It's camouflaged!
Passport is on the way. After talking to many different people at the call center for passports, turns out the folks on the phone know exactly where in the process it is. They just won't tell you. I got one guy that would and turns out the folks at the state dept did their damnedest to get it done. When I asked the guy why no one else would give me a status like you, he says, "yeah we're not suppossed to give false hope that it will arrive in time. I get in trouble a lot for doing that." My kinda guy. So you ever need to call on you passport status, know that once you have a locator number, the person on the phone knows exactly where it is in the process.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Working weekend for me. We were supposed to go to Diamond Lake on Monday to start our annual 3-week sabbatical. Had to cancel, so we are here. Have to make a run to Bravo Complex on Wednesday taking a tractor and Piano up. Have piano movers for the piano. I think that piano must weigh more than my truck. I can barely make it wiggle by myself.
Found some old pictures in one of our old trail ride books. This one was taken on a Ridge overlooking the Salmon River in Idaho. We had just climbed up the canyon walls out of the Whitebird Battlefield area. This is one from way back in 1966. My horse was named Lucky. He also won a Grand Champion Appaloosa Guilding (Big Silver Platter I still have) in the National Appaloosa Horse Show just a short time before this.
