Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Things went south and not good out along Salt Creek today and this evening. Pretty messy. About what I expected might happen when the green face of greed raises its ugly head.
Have to get out there a little earlier than expected in the morning as I still have the tractor to get tied down on the trailer before the Piano movers arrive around 0930-0945.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Started out this morning with 35° temps under clear skies. No smoke whatsoever. Up to 40 now that the sun is clearing the tree lines.
Piano move went very well. I was a bit worried when they only showed up with a crew of two. Should have had more confidence since the two that showed up had biceps as big as old growth Doug Fir and I'm sure would-be candidates for any iron man competition or the Olympic weightlifting team. Here at Bravo Compound it was very easy. Their van was the perfect height for the back door here that I need to build the porch for. They could back right up to it and use it like a loading dock. My Great Grandma's then Grandma's and then (as of Feb 1982) my Piano is now where the boss says it must be placed. Well, Her choice for now...right up until she needs the electrical plug ins that are behind her choice of locations.
