10 months after mother (sister and funeral home problems) and 8 years after dad's passing, (sister problems) I finally got mom and dad's headstone done correctly and properly placed in the ground. Confirmed everything was done correctly this past week.

Morning all. Still catching up on chores and clean up from being gone. Managed to find a yellow jacket nest yesterday while mowing. Only got stung twice. Rotton little b--turds. Hoping for more of a day off today but as I look around, I doubt it. Livin the dream.

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 49 and clear here at Bravo compound.
So far this morning the Sage Rats have not been cooperating. A couple of them popped their heads up in the yard but had gone back down before before I could get up to the ‘snipers nest”. The ones down on the dike pop up on the dead run for 25 yards or so and down the hole before I can get the scope on them.
The Warden is laughing her **** off. She’s pretty convinced the Sage Rats changed behavior patterns are because they know I brought the rifle with us this time.
So far smoke from the Bedrock Fire has been going North of us. After we got here yesterday, we took a drive up to La Pine to pickup furniture casters at BiMart since we forgot them when we were at Lowe’s day before yesterday. Smoke was pretty bad up there starting about 3-4 miles south of town.
