Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Got the table saw and the wood stove loaded onto the pickup today. I think I have the Warden convinced that wood stove needs to go to the recycling bin. Old and I think, my opinion anyway, that the firebox has had it. And it takes a tracto and a chain or a forklift to lift it into or out of the truck.
Cross fingers my passport shows up between now and Saturday. In the meantime we are looking a plan b options which is something domestic. Sadly it will probably cost 10x more to do something domestic.. <sigh>
I’m hearing reports from people I know and trust that the “virus that shall not be named” (yes Voldemort) is making the rounds at this time in Oregon (yes they themselves tested positive). Stay vigilant friends!
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else.
And so it begins.....0900 Dr. Appt for the Warden and then I have to have her at Providence - Newberg Hospital at 1200 hours for surgery.
Yesterday at the State Fair. Very disappointed in the fair this year. Seemed to be extremely scaled back with a lot fewer exhibits and booths.

It's here permanently and will never go away. Just like the flu shot, they are now calling for the covid shot annually. New vaccine is forthcoming.
Brett - I've heard the same thing and some rumbling about masks and shutdowns again. Don't know how true it is. Couple of clients on the wife's are in the medical field and they say we should be more worried about the Strep that is going around as it's really bad.
