Afternoon all. Looks to getting a hot in these parts starting on Sunday.
I'm so short handed I was on the paving crew Monday and Tuesday. I'm too old for that crap. Yesterday a tree went down and ended up doing some tree removal and then was a flagger for 3 hours.
Put my FWC on the truck last weekend so I can work on it. Replaced the water pump and need to get the refer working. Was thinking about going camping somewhere next weekend but might just go to the river instead.
Good evening/night Ford Drivers.
I'm back in a truck tomorrow. I get to drive the conveyer truck tomorrow for a roof edge delivery, I drive and a co-worker does all the lifting.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 52 and climbing at Bravo compound.
It’s been a whirlwind the last 3 days. Got to the Valley Tuesday afternoon, 2 meetings (1 unplanned) Tuesday evening & night. Wednesday was working on clearing out storage units, making dump runs, run to the recycle center, Goodwill and DePaul. Finally, load what’s left in the pickup for the trip up here, stop at the office to tell them we’re done with the two units & get the prorated refund credited to the one monster nightmare of the MIL’s that is left.
Thursday started with a 0800 appointment with a surgeon at Providence in Newberg for the Warden. Have to have her in for a CT scan next Thursday & then Friday the Surgeon again to formulate a battle plan.
Then after Surgeons, surgical assistants and all that stuff, the Security equipment outfit let me know the technician would be at the club house “sometime” yesterday afternoon, probably around 1330. Yep…. He arrived at 1545 making was to be a long day even longer.
Got the remote observation system and review capability operation back on line. The ISP we have uses a dynamic IP. The IP had changed, which is what I figured. But when I tried to update the IP it always failed.
Come to find out when I was running the IP discovery check program on my smart phone, I was getting bogus results. The IP being returned wasn’t even close. The tech couldn’t figure out why. We finally set up his laptop and ran the IP discovery from there and got the correct IP to plug in to the remote off site system software.
Sent out instructions to the Board Members and the Range Safety Officers and all but a couple of the guys who need the grandkids to turn the TV on, were back on line.
We had an early dinner, got some more things loaded in the truck and got on the road at for Bravo compound around 1945 with an ETA 2325. Made it as far as Odell Lake View Point and had to stop for half an hour so we got in here at midnight.
Get to play at the top of a 20’ extension ladder today…..maybe I should have Andy send me his blueprints for his scaffolding.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 47 under blue sky with some smoke haze.
Didn't play on top of the ladder yesterday. Having to resolve an issue of the edge of a deck and deck stairs right where I need the ladder to be.
