Morning all. 47deg on this Saturday #1. Looking at the weather forecast it appears most of april will be a repeat of the last 6 months. Need to mow so pinning my hopes it's dry enough tomorrow to do that since that is the only dry day in the next 10. I've had enough. If the weather doesn't get much better soon, I'll head south since I've been informed there is a New JD 35 Mini Excavator waiting for me. It's only a 2.5 hour flight.
Got some errands to run today and maybe do some lawn mower shopping. Also need to chase down a new AC for the old trailer as well. Dang if those thing are not cheap nor are the servicable. they are throw away.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 47.1 and raining.

I think lawnmower shopping may be in our near-term plans. I'm thinking a riding mower that may have a couple of other capabilities. However, I think a JD 35 Mini Excavator may be taking the search in a wrong direction and getting a little extreme. I have to ask Rich, does that fit in the overhead as carry on or will you have to check it into baggage?

I'd like to do a Honda since it will be the last one I buy and Honda will no longer be making them anymore. Hard to justify the $$ but then all of them are expensive. I could get by with an electric but I'm not there yet. Give me fuel and fire...
Not sure the mini will fit in the overhead but it will fit on my flatbed. LOL No plans to be down south for a while so they'll have to figure it out.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Spent part of the day at the Newberg Vet Clinic since I couldn't get into the Sheridan Animal Hospital. Then spent another part of the day with the Warden at the Pulmonary Doctor. Spent this afternoon and evening giving meds to Demon Kitty and watching her for any adverse reactions.

I've got a Honda HRX217 Lawn Mower. Self-propelled walk behind. Really like it and wouldn't give it up for anything.
I may have to add to the fleet with a riding mower, but I think I'll be looking for one that can multi-task. Might depend on if I can salvage the Kubota and the field chopper from the ranch.
Morning all. Looks to be really wet for a few days after today. Not sure it will dry out enough to do much outside today. The rain can stop anytime now.
The HRX is what I'm looking at. The HRN is quite a bit less dollar-wise but you get what you pay for. I could use a rider since our place is not rough and totally flat but then I wouldn't have a lot of need for the tractor so I have to justify it somehow. haha. The tractor doesn't finish off as nice but it gets it done faster with a 5' pass and I have 500' of gravel driveway to maintain.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Up to 4.9 under heavy overcast with a 50% chance of rain.

I was just looking and I can not believe how much the price of those HRX mowers have gone up. They are double the price I paid just 2-1/2 years ago!
