Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 38 with some snow left on the ground.
We didn’t make the trip to Bravo compound yesterday. Had a problem come up with the homeowners insurance that we had to take care of yesterday. After we got that taken care of ( we think) we found out there was a short in the boat trailer lights. The short was blowing the fuse for all tail & clearance lights. Since lights were going to be required during the trip, I had to get those fixed. Finally got the culprit, (bad wire on a clearance light), for the short located and corrected, but due to weather on the passes we decided to get some sleep and we departed this morning. Stopped at Walmart in Salem and then at Costco as they opened the doors. Got the 11 cu ft freezer we had been looking at for $100 off on sale. We had been thinking about ordering on line with delivery but the sale price in store for $100 less than the Costco online store was a no brained. Not sure my back would agree.
By the time we got to the 58 summit it was mostly bare & wet pavement with some slush here and there. Still he some snow in our driveway when we got here a couple of hours ago.
Dentist this morning. It appears unknown to me my guy of 25 years retired and i did not get the memo. new dentist seems fine though. Since she didn't have a hygienist, she did the work herself. I liked that.
Since I was in the area I stopped at Cablea's and finally found some 30-30 ammo. only about 2.5x the cost of the last box I got a couple decades ago. Picked up a brick of .22 as well just because. I resisted the urge to buy a new pew pew since they only had what I was looking for used. Not a lot of difference between new and used cost so I passed....for now. On the other hand, I may have mail ordered some lower parts last night from an east coast place so I can begin a new build.
Hello Wayne.
Good Sunday morning Ford Drivers.
Currently 33.4°, going to wait for it to warm up some before crawling under the van on the cold concrete.
