Lin: I had to go check my screens after what you said ! Yup, you are right...all on the outside - BUT, my windows all have metal guards on them over that rubber seal. Screens have to be removed (from the inside) to replace that seal and screening. Yup, cheap windows ~ or just outdated.
Good late morning all...an absolutely splendiferous day here...currently 72*...a tad humid...with a good amount of sunshine. The low temp makes the humidity OK. Hope it's at least as nice in your little slice of heaven.
What's for lunch???

Super nice out today but you can still feel the humidity in the early AM Was a nice short walk with many stops due to one dog is a young one and the Turkeys were out
I'll have to wait till the grass dries from the dew to finish the lawn.
Oh and after my walk I took the trash out and the screen door locked behind me Good thing they make the screens rubber tube to hold in the screening on the outside......... no idea why they do that. But it makes it easy to pull it out and switch the handle lock latch Of course I forgot my truck door pad combo, and I think reset it by mistake, so I couldn't get my pocket knife out and had to scrounge around the shed for the scissors ...
You would think my day was going bad but it's just making me laugh. Gotta love Mondays !
Morning Lin...sounds like you've had some adventures already today.

Good morning Bud...great day at "work"...and...it was a Two Katie Day. Katie Lyn is now known as Auntie Katie...her sister gave birth Saturday For All night to a bouncing baby boy...9 pounds......22".... Cesarean...she was in labor for 28 hours...no way that big guy was coming out naturally. Unfortunately...due to Covid restrictions...Katie hasn't met him yet.

Good morning Massachusetts..
Howdy John...good to hear they're under control for now at least...hopefully no reoccurrence with the renewed hot weather.
Doing well...supply is an issue all over...the Honda dealer in town has about 25% of the new car inventory he would normally have...pretty much the same issue nationwide. I wouldn't want to be in the market for a new or used car right now. The car I bought in February for $16,250...is now retailing for $20,000...or...more.
Lunch is done...on to the morning paper...then...nap.
The 6 local dealers near me have practically empty lots rot now. We are having issues getting inventory in to sell. We are running out of stuff for most of the popular vehicles like Honda's, and the like.

It's a rental so it's cheap Actually I just checked 3 other windows that are 'newer' then the others, all double pained, and they have it on the inside. Course they don't have the locking clips.
The one I did was the screen door so maybe they don't think it needs better security LOL
I taped the lock switch down on it so it better not happen again. But it's an easy in and easy fix so meh. Personally I love the Old time screen doors.. that bang
Good Last day of Retirement for the second time in my life Massachusetts, Ken, Lin, Chris, Don, Shaun, Bud, Tim, John, Neil and all the crew.
Ken, glad your work day was a god one and a good nap was involved. Glad the Katie crew was there.
Lin sounds like you had a trying morning! Hope it got better.
We took the new girls to the barn in a cage. Last night Becky pulled them out and put them on the perch. They were still there this morning.

I'm not sure what happened to the morning but it's gone. It's a little cooler today so I decided to get my chipper out and take care of some of the brush pile that seems to be getting bigger and bigger.
There is a new fire in the area, 30 miles from me and across the lake. Lots of friends live in that area though. I don't know a lot yet but I haven't heard of anyone loosing there homes. One chicken house lost that I know of. The Rumer is that someone of up the hill shooting. It started yesterday and reported at 2000 acres this morning.
Good evening all...our great day continued...mild temps...reasonable humidity...some haze though. Nap time was good as well.
Now...on to supper...gotta see what's in the fridge.
Hope y'all had a great day!!!

Good afternoon there...evening here Tim. You know what they say..."Time flies when you're having fun." Sorry to hear about the new fire...I think most of them are caused by careless folks. Hopefully they get the new one under control soon.
Good morning Massachusetts...and...all who visit this Saturday #2!!! Looks like a mostly cloudy day here today with a chance of showers all day...hope it's nicer in your little slice of heaven!!!
Not a whole lot on the schedule today...not even sure if I can get out of the condo...there's a cop in my driveway. The gas company is having some work done in the street. They replaced the gas line the whole length of the street a few months ago. The company that does the work is owned by a former customer of mine...sold him about 20 trucks over the years...including 3 Raptors for his personal use. I'm sure he'll be by to check the guys...and...he'll stop in and say hello. Since I left the dealership...he now buys his trucks elsewhere...said no one treated him like I did.
Wow John, Feast or Famine when it comes to the temp eh? It's starting to get that way here on or off and not much in between. Here's hoping for a BEAUTIFUL AUTUMN !!! Which is my Favorite time of year... Flannel shirts, fluffy socks, Morning Hot coffee watching the sun rise on the porch with a blanket (same at night but with hot tea, but I have a bear skin for a blanket )And the best color of the seasons TIM, hope they can get that thing contained asap !
Suppose to rain here today but the Future radar says no maybe I will get the lawn done... hahahah maybe.
Ohhh I scored a Charcoal grill for FREE yesterday. Didn't know how good a deal I got till I got home and looked it up. It was only used about 4 times and is in perfect condition. I better get grilling... which means I need to go fishing
