Because of the drought there isn't much for blue berries they usually feed on this time of year plus they are burying the garbage at the dump on a regular basis so the big fat bears come to town to do there shopping..

Ok I am thinking of running to the Packie for some Zinfandel wine, not something I have had in eons. It's the Storm that's making me do it
Ain't nuttin wrong with watching the would pass and enjoying a glass of wine!

Good Saturday For All Massachusetts...and...all who visit!!! Woke up this morning to incredibly humid weather once again...some showers...gonna be the same way all day...high of 86*. Henri is coming...last nights reports had it coming right up the CT River Valley...right over my head...current reports have him west of here...around the MA/NY border which means...that in addition to the rain...we get the winds. Better batten down the hatches. This will be the closest hurricane in 30 years when Bob hit Rhode Island...one of the most expen$ive storms in history.

Saawx rolled over the Rangers last night...just like they should...winning 6-0. The games today and tomorrow are in question.

The Brekkie Crew was going to go to Bacon and Brews on Sunday...now...due to Henri...we're not. Gonna take a week off...no need to challenge the storm.

Hope Y'all have a great day!!!

That's the truth Lin...people say they saw a bear in their back yard...wrong...the bears saw us in their front yard. Hope you didn't hit the Zinfandel too hard...hangovers are no fun!!!

Mornin All,
I was going to get those Wine Coolers that were big back in 1998.. last time I had them. But I guess they are now out and Seltzers/Ciders are in That's what happens when you don't drink. So I got a 6 of Coors Light - SHHH I'm a light weight drinker and I just didn't want to bother looking for something else.

Thanks for the heads up Ken. Going to check the forecast now and see what has changed. I do need to swing up to Walmart in NH for a few things so I better get going sooner rather then later.. maybe I will just go to Framingham instead where it is closer.

Sensational Saturday morning Massachusetts, Ken, Lin, Bud, Don, Shaun, John, George and all the crew reporting.
It looks like the predictor has Henri going through west Connecticut and up the NY/MA border and turning east as soon as it crosses in to VT!

Batten everything down you can't move and stow everything you can move.

Good morning LIn...my sister was big on the wine coolers...now...she likes the Jack Daniels Downhome Punch. Coors LIGHT?!?!?! Have you no shame??? Too many great craft beers around to drink stuff they add water to to mike it "Light".

One thing I found out about Wally World...direct from a store manager. Watch out for pricing in non sales tax stores that closely border states where there is a sales tax. Often times the prices in the non tax stores will be higher. I've seen it...but...I haven't been in a Wally World in about 6 years.

Good morning Bud...I'll probably be hunkered down for most of the weekend. I never challenge puddles...always go around them.

Good morning Rod...I saw lots of people securing their lawn/patio/deck stuff this morning...I'm all set. I didn't know that Mississippi and New York shared a border. Hope your weekend is a great one!!!

Good morning John...rain is good...I'm sure it helped with lessening the chance of new fires.

Good morning Ken, Lin, John, Shaun, Rod and anyone I missed.

We got a little rain last night that should with the local fire. Currently 62° and 80% RH

I hope Henry doesn't cause too much trouble.

John, Glad to hear you are getting some rain.

Ken, I really don't drink enough to even try other beers. It takes me most of a year to drink the 6 pack I buy

I have to buy Painters pants and Wally world is the only place that MIGHT have them. I went to 2, chelmsford and Tewksbury and nothing in my size I got a pair in brown (think Carhatt work pants so that will have to do for now. I may just go to Framingham to that one and see and then Harbor Freight (just because) to get out of the house as I'll be stuck in all day tomorrow.

Good $ off the gas ! I shop groceries at Market Basket... Gotta watch my pennies after buying this truck cash
