Afternoon Ken, Lin et al ! Doc says he's gonna change my BPH med. Hopefully it will help stop getting up 3 times a night to go. Also sez to stop stopping at the bathroom just because you walk by it. Retrain the body he sez. OK...I'll try that . Also gotta stop by the lab for a PSA test.

Shooo Weeee it's a hottin' out !
Had to go to HD and it wasn't too bad at 1030 but then I went out a 1/2 hr ago to grab some old veggies for the hens... sweatin the second I walked into the sun !
smashed the veggies and put it in the freezer. Will be good for the hens tomorrow during the heat.

 

Afternoon Lin. Toasty down here as well. Currently 95 with a heat index of 107.

 

Good evening all...temp topped out at 92* this afternoon...with a feels like of 105*...got that down to a much more comfortable 89/98 now. Way too hot for this big guy...A/c is doing a pretty good job though. Possibility of some showers or maybe even a boomer tonight. Tomorrow is gonna be worse...ambient temp should be 96*...with...high humidity. Kind of like living in a sauna.



Evening Rod...you're absolutely correct...it is a real thing. She was fine by the time she got to work though...went around the room saying to all the patients...showing off some new pics pf Nick...I call them Nick Mik Pics. She left him with her Mom...so...she knows he had a great baby sitter...and...his older brother Oliver was there as well. Oliver is a 2 year old Frenchie as cute as the day is long...he was a bit jealous when Nick first came home...would kind of growl at Mom if he thought Nick was getting too much attention. No issues now...they're besties.

Nap wasn't the greatest until I broke down and turned the A/C on...then...

Howdy Bud...hopefully the new med works well for 'ya. I wish I had to get up 3 times a night to drain the vein.

Evening to the Commonwealth and I hope that your day was good. I spent my day watching The Godfather and The Godfather II along with A Bronx Tale. They were all on AMC.

 

Good morning Massachusetts...and...all who visit this Saturday #4...on the downhill slide to the weekend!!! Woke up this morning to 73* with 97% RH...just very uncomfortable. It will get up to 96* or warmer this afternoon...with...very high humidity. ..the "feels like" will be in the neighborhood of 110*. Hope it's better in your little slice of heaven. I'm guessing that my A/C will be getting a workout...got the filter cleaned...washed...and...in the sink to dry out.

The Saawx definitely found the lumber last night...taking a 20-1 lead into the top of the ninth against the Rays. Of course...the bullpen attempted to implode...giving up 7 runs...never was an 20-1 lead more tenuous. Rubber game of the series this afternoon.

Pats first pre-season game tonight against the Washington Football Team. I'll probably watch some...but...not much of the game.

Not a whole lot on the schedule for today...just a couple errands...put out the recycling...maybe a load of laundry. Mostly...just stay as cool as possible.

Morning Ken, Lin, Don, John, all MASS and friends. Thinking I'll be soaking up the cold air INSIDE today. Ma Nature is on a heat/humidity rampage today on the East Coast !

Too bad the Saaux couldn't bank all those extra runs last night !

 

Us women know all too well about the bathroom breaks while trying to sleep I've got it down to 1 time if I don't drink past 6pm and take a sleeping pill so I SLEEP lol. PSA check is good and should be done, just the prostate exam is not enough. My brother got lucky that they caught it with a PSA blood lab and his was aggressive. He's all good now.

Thanks for the heads up Ken. I think I will skip the store today.

Actually I have access to 60 channels from the hospital. With internet, I have access to my Dish satellite programming along with everything that is on my DVR at home. Plus I also have access to everything that is available through Amazon Prime Video.
