Good afternoon all... Lin pointed out at least 3 tornado warnings in MA...one in her area...one in the Worcester area...both expired...and...another one Northeast of Worcester just announced...looks like this one might be the real one. Just a whole bunch of rain here...currently a moderate rainfall just ended.
Glad you're apparently safe now Lin...hopefully it remains that way with the third warning.
Nice nap...now...gotta do some more laundry.

Like Bud said...Henri is coming...should reach here sometime on Sunday afternoon...probably worse than Fred. We have some sun peeking through the clouds now...an absolute sauna outside...A/C is going on shorty. Currently 75* with 98% RH. 
Pats second exhibition day tonight in Philadelphia against the Iggles...kickoff scheduled for 1930 hours. Mercifully...the Saawx have the day off.

Evening all...still oppressively hot...78*...RH...86%...some sun peeking through the clouds.
Supper down the hatch...cheeseburger...now...gotta wash the dishes...scoop the litter box...and...then settle in for the Pats game.
World's Largest Pancake Breakfast Saturday For All morning in Springfield...I've attended before...they do a great job. If you're in the area...check it out.
"Work" tomorrow...you know I'll be in bed early.

Oh Ken isn't it Brutal out ! I grabbed the eggs and dashed back in... blah..
I've already figured out what is going to be taken down Saturday and Saturday evening I will put a waterproof tarp over the chicken run and Lash it down tight. Need to figure out which way the wind will be blowing to see if I need to fully wrap it so hens stay dry.
Got a call from the House Painter guy I applied to. Going to meet him tomorrow, he wanted to just have me start. I think it is best to meet first, guess I'm old fashioned
It's a small Biz just him, an "old timer painter' <- his words not mine- that works only a few hours a week, his nephew who is leaving to do different work. Will let you know how it works out .
OH and my rear LED bulbs for the truck came today so I will put them in tomorrow if I can. I got the ones that blink like 3 times then go steady light - brake and reverse. Really makes you notice when someone is stopping.

Good morning Massachusetts...and...all who visit this Weekend Eve!!! Celebrate responsibly now. 
Woke up this morning to another incredibly humid day...72* with 97% RH...some showers possible for most of the day. Some areas in MA got up to 5" of rain yesterday courtesy of Fred...locally it was about 2.5". The next town to the West got hammered though...lots of roads and streets washed out...lots of trees down. That was without the winds that many other areas received. Hope MA Nature is taking good care of you!!!
Tornado touched down in Clinton...looks to be mostly property damage...no injuries.
Pats rolled over the short handed Iggles last night in Philly...35-0. The best thing about the game was the Philly Cheese Steaks sold at the concession stands.
Both Pats QBs played very well...Cam Newton probably is still the #1 guy...but rookie 1st round draft choice Mac Jones isn't far behind.

Not surprised that Clinton had a touchdown by the way the radar looked. After living in TX for 2 years and being almost hit by one I know what the radar looks like !
Looks like Hurricane Henri will make a direct hit here. Got lots of thinking to do on the chicken run.

Morning Ken, Lin, Don, John, all MASS and friends . Looks like you have all today and most of tomorrow to "batten down the hatches" Lin. Hopefully Henri will veer off to the east more so you guys don't get a direct hit. Wouldn't wanna be vaca-ing down on the Cape this weekend ! Good friend and neighbor has a place on Martha's Vineyard. Doesn't look too good for that place. It's an old house....hope it survives.
