Any illusion that the bolt is caught in the pulleys has vanished. I removed the serpentine belt this afternoon and I'm still at a hard stop.

Damn.

Does it rotate backwards to a hard stop as well?

Pull valve covers and look for loose/bent pushrod.

No it will move backwards. I'm debating on what to tear into next...if I remove the valve covers and see a bent/loose rod, then what? Honestly, I don't know what that means for me. lol There is only so much I'll be able to do myself before I have to take my truck somewhere and have them tear it down.

I'm wondering if I should try to go in and remove the plenums again and get another look. Maybe that's just a waste of time.

If your borescope fits pull the GPs and look into the cylinders. If there is a bolt slamming around you'll see evidence.

I'd certainly get a scope and look before I spent $$$$ having someone tear it apart..... and find no bolt

@Walleye Hunter I was doing some other maintenance on my truck and ID'd that I was wrong in post #13 above.

My plenums do NOT have the screens.

Yes sir! Heavy duty nitrile gloves over the openings immediately after setting the intake Y-pipe down.

I guess I was thinking of other images I had seen on here before. I wanted to set the record straight though, as I always do if/when I make a mistake or misstate something I thought to be a true when in fact it was not.

I hope @clineco comes back soon with a VICTORY update.
