Interesting, I wonder how that high temp paint holds up compared to the other products on the market?
No idea but wanted to post here to get thoughts...

the theory of operation is that you put an once in each cell. The oil with a secret sauce sits on top of the acid. When the acid bubbles from charging …the layer of oil traps the gas and the trapped gas then turns back to liquid.
gas never escapes
therefore no corrosion.
its magic
I use this. It works really well. Plus Carwell also sprays under the hood and my battery terminals/battery hold down bars which have been and are corrosion free.

Maybe down in Texas but ARod's from Michigan... who knows but you'd definitely need those posts and terminals to clean and dry.
I use those felt rings seem to work good.
I had that same issue where the battery ate the hold down. I just replaced mine. I was shocked to see it because the battery showed no signs of leaking.
All I know is that Carwell oil works for me... Or rather worked for when I had the original Motorcraft conventional batteries... Now have Interstate AGMs...
Driver's side battery here: all original components...
The terminals are covered in the NOCO stuff...

Texas saltwater bays and a 20 year old bay boat. Oil coatings on all electrical connections annually is the ticket.
Yep... I've heard of that stuff before Troy... It's on my wish list on Amazon, with about 1k other things, and wanted to buy a can to check it out... Got any pics of your treated connections or terminals... ?

I would continue to use the products that your using as they're proven to work. The point I was making is that I would put any type of oil coating that's viscous or high viscosity up against any rattle can paint for corrosion protection. The oils' you use are probably very similar to the Corrosion X that I use.

VLEDs replaced the one defective V6 Extreme 3157 bulb. I had to cut the wire off and send them a pic. It seems they have redesigned the bulb connector adapters to a fully potted design. I am going to "OVERKILL" mine as a few of them have come apart, but still functional, and I'll post up here what I do. I'll make them waterproof and make sure they never come apart again. But all in all, they are a stand up company with excellent company support. Stay tuned...
As to the front ambers, that's another story... I'll get into it soon. Not bad but have to buy additional products form them as it seems the Super Duty BCMs can get confused with the front signals with an LED bulb there...
I thought mine were bad but they were not... More soon.
I saw just the other day that my dealer has Motorcraft AGM batteries.
Do they make one for our trucks? I know all the F150's use the AGM batteries from the factory, but the Super Duty's still use the standard lead acid batteries from the factory.
These guys are on my radar to possibly put in the wheel wells as a running light/directional with ambers in the front wheel wells and reds in the rear. It says you can tap the factory harness and use them as such...
