Also, regarding the connection issue. An external bluetooth dongle fixed the problem, it was indeed something related to the Dell Intel Bluetooth device (which I disabled temporarily in device manager).
yeah doing some math I’m spot on if it was a 65 gal (I have a 70) was looking around and don’t see any fixes/ changes

There has always been a discussion that Ford keeps a big reserve, that when the truck reads zero DTE there are still at least 5 gallons left in it. I wonder if that helps explain the discrepancy.

I just tested that this week ! I was returning my truck to the dealership and decided to not fuel up on purpose. I left the house with 1 km and the dealership is 40km from here. I did not make it LOL

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction about what setting causes the speed limit to display next to my digital speedometer as shown below in the photo from my 2020 F350. I have a 2018 Expedition and would like to have the same functionality on my Expy if possible via Forscan or if it's a Sync related setting, etc. F350 is running Sync 3.4 version 19274 and my Expy is running Sync 3.4 version 20021 if it makes any difference.

I believe that is a cluster firmware thing
Reach out to LivnItUp at clustersbylivnitup@gmail.com. He does cluster programming

Finally had the chance to fill the truck after we made the last of the FORScan changes to enable DTE with the S&B 60 gallon tank

the Trip 1 readout is what I had done just before the fill up, the miles traveled isn’t additive to the range, so 1074 miles range on a full tank.

Did you program 60 gallons as the tank size? Mine showed 940 I believe, with pretty high mpg indicated.

I’m about 1/2 though the 1st fill up and currently only projected around 900 miles, averaging 18.x

Rich
Glad to see that 1074 number there.
Even if I had the 68 gallon in my F450 I doubt I would be in the 1000+ club.

Yes, 60 gallons is what I programmed. I may have stacked the deck, while the trip average is showing 17, it was a lot of in town driving for he first 250 miles, the last 200 just before I filled was a trip on the highway, and the average for that trip was about 22.7, so the range was probably heavily influenced by that. I have never figured out what fuel economy history it uses to calculate range.

zooDad, thanks again for all your help on this, very satisfying to see that range finally reflect the money I spent on the tank.

Is this with the GPS/NAV navigating to a destination? If so, cancel the route and see if it still shows.

I remember some discussion on it some pages back in the 2015-2020 F-150 FORScan thread; someone wanted it to show as yours does but NAV had to be engaged and be on a road/street that the NAV knew the speed limit on. Some of the newest vehicles can actually read the speed limit signs with their on-board cameras and display it. BMW's, for one.
