Well, shoot. Thanks for replying with your results. I guess I'll be looking into the Hypertech or Rough Country inline as well when I pull the trigger on 37s. Let us know how it goes/what you think, etc!

 

Is there a code option yet for the open door chime? The chiming with no key in the ignition makes no sense to me. I’ve done other changes w/ the program, but this one bothers me the most. thanks!

I got it to work on mine. I’m sorry but I don’t remember which I used. I believe I used the door chime disable from the 17-19 sheet. Don’t forget to backup your current BCM config. I keep the original saved and I keep a second one called current when I make individual changes.

 

Shark hunt, do you have a key or a fob? I believe guys w/ the fob don’t have this issue.

 

I am looking for info on the door lock key pad install on an 2020 F550 XL. I went by a post from another member to make this needed addition..... The changes that were posted in another thread listed the 2017+ instructions. But the values to change were not working (one was already set at the new value and the other I changed). I am guessing the 2020 has changes to it from the 17 to 19 models. I need to activate the door keypad unit I installed on this brand new XL truck. The last thread said it worked on 17+, so I installed it, but it does not. If you have any updates to the spreadsheet that will help, please let me know.

I just did that on my 2020 F350.

It was in the plain english section.

Is the 550 Forscan different than the 350?

I will update you with the answer..... I have a few 2019 F550's on the lot that I can experiment with... but only one 2020 right now.

I haven't seen this one yet so I'll ask...Anybody get the enable auto regen check box to show up and be usable on the 2020s? While in Forscan and connected to the truck today I looked for something that looked like it in the IPC plain english side (per the 2017+ Forscan sheet) and didn't see anything. The 2020 sheet doesn't have it listed, so maybe its not been found yet. Thanks!

 

I did it in Forscan plain English, but I don't remember the section, and the check box appears in the display.

 

Keith- I got it to go, just as they said... it was available to change in the BCM plain english module. I changed the value, confirmed it and cycled the keys. I got the door code and the keypad is now activated. thanks for your help on this 2020 F550XL 4x4 crew cab chassis
