Got it back to original by restoring the SCCM module to factory. Now the steering wheel controls are correct!

I had tried to change the turn signal flash count to a larger number from three (with two added when trailering). If I want to change to four flashes, just what should the second column values be? My spreadsheet shows only three digits in the second column, but the software has four. Doesn't take much to confuse me I guess...

After changing it back to original, I took a chance on changing the second digit in the second column to the value I wanted, and everything is correct now. Thanks for the help and patience!

Changing Turn Signal Flash Count

[QUOTE=ZooDad;19290123]So can you post up what you changed from and to for future readers

To change the turn signal flash count from "original" (mine was an original three flash count):

Module SCCM, 724-01-01
Change second number in second column. My original second number was changed to A, and now have five flashes that automatically cancels with the lane changing feature.

2020 DTE issue resolved

Big news for 2020 60 gallon fuel tank upgrade guys. I had Ron-Hill and sharkhunt do some testing and they got positive results.

So after researching about 20-25 different trucks and AsBuilt comparisons I found one difference.

so The normal IPC change.
IPC 720-03-01 xxxX XXxx xxx

Make the same change in AsBuilt In the PCM
PCM 7E0-01-04 xxxX XXxx xxxx

Thanks to the ForScan Team for shooting me this info

I have updated the spreadsheet

Have a great and safe weekend.

I have been running around town today and DTE has been ticking up slowly. At the moment my DTE is 570mi, and that is higher than it has ever shown. Tomorrow I will be headed out of town 200 miles and will circle back.

Looks promising, I'm stoked!

Zoo Dad

Really appreciate the help, really been looking forward to this. What does "LB" stand for? Just trying to understand what change I am making in the powertrain section.

Thanks

I made the changes, the DTE immediately went up to 760. The tank is essentially full, 17 miles since i filled, the truck is showing an average MPG at the moment of about 17.5, the trip for the 17 miles was showing about 16.8.

I am never sure what mpg it uses to calculate the DTE, but if it uses either of those I would have expected the range with 60 gallons to pop something closer to 950 or 1,000.

The calculated DTE feels more like it is assuming that it has the LB tank of 48 gallons, rather than actually taking the IPC change, it is just reflecting the LB change in the PCM.

What do you think?

while the guys were testing we saw the same thing
As they drive the DTE contributed to climb
drive it a while and see what happens

Okay, I will see what happens. when I drove it locally the DTE started going down, as the fuel economy got worse, will be interesting to see what happens next time I am on the highway.

Is there any other consequence to making the truck think it is the long wheelbase? Mine has the active steering for instance, I wonder if the correction curves in the software that control that are specific to wheelbase.

I do not believe the PCM entry has to do with the long bed specifically that was the only difference in my research of the data of why the DTE would not change.

Okay, thanks. It is clear that I am ignorant on how all of the FORScan stuff works, just happy that it does. Wish we could figure out why the DPF% screen on the 2020's is taking out the bed camera, hard to see how they are related.
