Probably not, unfortunately. It calculates based on what percentage of fuel is left in the tank, as a percentage of the tank size relying on the fuel sender reading.

so if you change the FORScan tank size to your larger capacity that will correct one side of the equation, but it won’t know what the percentage of fuel left is until you exhaust the transfer tank and start emptying the main tank. Put another way, it will show you the range as if you have 60 gallons left and won’t move, since the main fuel tank gauge keeps reading full, until the transfer tank is empty, then as you use fuel out of the main tank and the gauge starts to go down, it will start to calculate the DTE based on the percentage of fuel Left in the tank, but it will assume it is a 60 gallon tank, when in fact it is a 34 gallon tank. So at that point it will be wildly optimistic.

2020 KR DRW 6.7 and I used the spreadsheet at the beginning to change the as-built for the double honk / leaving cabin.. It did not work and seems to reset my PCM and TPMS, etc. I changed it back and the used the english and it worked. So the spreadsheet may need to be changed.

Spread sheet says this:
726-63-02 xxxx x0xx xxxx (PCM Wake up??)

And mine seemed to change this:
726-63-02 xxx0 xxxx xxxx (Lost PK Exterior notification??)

Anyway - I also got rid of door ajar chime with engine running and triple dings on start up (appears to be 720-01-02 for both)

But then I also see that 720-09-01 was changed.

The reason I am looking into this, is now when I shut the truck down and lock the doors, the USB lights and door buttons stay immluminated for about 5 minutes and the screen takes a few seconds to shut down. Going to put it back, but was interested if anybody had ever seen this. Not sure what the 720-09-01 is - seems to be TPMS or some kind of fuel tank code. Mine was C062 1584 1905 now it is C042 1584 1905. I have not gotten into any other modules besides the IPC and BCM.

Also - my start button on the dash is flashing quickly in accessory mode - I don't remember that.

Should the light ever be flashing? When I was programming, I only had it in accessory mode - should I have hit the button trice or held it? Forscan seemed to work ok....?

Thanks ZooDad - wanted to PM you - but can't due to being too new - lol

Wanted to also post that when I press the start button (no brake) - it flashes fast green. I don't remember it doing that. When the truck is running, the green light on the start button is on solid - don't remember that either. When programming, I just pressed the button and started programming. Seemed to work - now it flashes like crazy in accessory mode.

The KR package is pretty loaded - just don't have adapting steering.

 

My push to start light does the same thing

 

Can you post up what your stock as-built and now for 720-01-02

no idea why 720-09-01 would change. Did you use plain english to make your 720 changes ? Do you have trailer TPMS ? That is what changed in that line.

i will say that I can’t stand all the bells, dings, honks, and beeps. Amazing that running errands this afternoon I had them all going off at any given time. People
were impressed.

I am not sure which parameter that I wanted to change changed the 720-09-01. I only wanted no honk on exit, no door ajar chime, and no startup ding.

I did them all through plain english.

I tried the as-built using the 2020 tab for the double honk at first. That did not work as the information on the tab in the spreadsheet is wrong. It was the right address, but wrong attribute.

Here is what happened (stock)720-09-01 C062-1584-1905 was changed to C042-1584-19E5


The only problem I actually am concerned about no is that when I shut my door and lock them - the door switches stay illuminated and the led light that lights up the space where the USB ports are stays lit up for about 5 minutes then goes out.

IIRC, it used to be that when I used to shut the door and hit lock on the fob - everything would shut down - nothing illuminated. Something somewhere got changed and not sure how to get this resolved. Bothersome as I don't want my truck lit up on the inside at night.

I would load your backups and restore to factory as-built. Confirm the usb/ switch lights go off when lock. Then make one change at a time
I will have the spreadsheet updated tomorrow with door ajar and correct the error you found.

I have already changed the two modules back to stock.

The issue is now when I shut my door and hit lock, the Media Bin Lamp and Door Handle Switches stay illuminated for a while. i see others have posted these issues - so I will have to live with it for now.

Seems that the ignition flashing and this new behavior, seems that something is left undone in the programming....I just still don't recall those two behaviors.

Also - I will go through to compare all the modules as I am not sure what Forscan changes. I have only looked to change two modules - but I am not sure if Forscan goes into other modules.

The 2020s are different and there are more features, so some of the older features no longer use the same addressing.

ForScan plain English has the ability to change multiple addresses. One reason I like to confirm through As-Built comparisons.
