I just got off the phone with my dealer. Priority is 30, and like Oaks mentioned, my dealer took the liberty to order the truck as “stock”, and not a retail sale to Speed things along.
Good news, mine did the same thing...they must have figured this path out in late 16 for the 17's. Certainly appreciated.
Thank you for your service sir. Navy myself here. I placed my order with my dealer 2 weeks ago. Talked to the GM on Friday and said mine should go through this next week. Mine is also a pretty special order because normally can't find an F-250 or F-350 here in the Pacific NW in a supercab unless it is an XL model in Oxford White. Glad I did wait because since Ford added the Velocity Blue to the lineup for the superduty, I am getting an F-250, Supercab Lariat, velocity blue, 7.3L, 3.55 electronic plus other goodies.
Yes on price jump and DORA. I was going to just order the 6.2L in my 250 Lariat. I waited a week and a half and the 7.3L went from $1600 to $2045. If I had gotten my 7.3 initially, I would have saved $400.
My dealership says they can't get a vin yet. I ordered mine at the end of August. I can't find info anywhere, so if the 450 is starting does that mean the 250 and 350s are starting? Thanks
I don't feel so bad not gettign a VIN, ordered 9/25. Dealer said they normally get it in 3 weeks. I wonder what why it's taking longer than usual. I guess the January delivery quotes seem quite accurate.
I am about to get a 2020 F350 6.7 . The Ford Service manager i asked about the Godzilla 7.3 Gas....he said you won't pass a gas station without stopping.
I did own a 1997 F350 Gas, 8 mpg empty, loaded up some hay on a trailer and got 2 mpg.

I don’t think he will be far off with that statement
1. It’s an HD engine meaning they don’t need to post or adhere to anyMPG numbers
2. it’s strictly going to be made for people that want more power then the 6.2 but don’t need 1000 pds of torque. I can see it getting around 12-13 empty- 18 hwy. possibly break 20 on HWY in a 2 wheel drive xl with 17” tires empty going 55.
our hemi 6.4 work trucks get around 12 mph empty 7-8 towing. So I will be expecting very similar numbers when we get our 7.3 work trucks

Guess I am being optimistic that a 10 speed tranny and a 3.55 rear will get 14-15 mpg empty.
If the 11,400 GCWR for the F350 single is correct I'm out. I was hoping they would match the new GM 12,100. Also, it shows 13,000 for the dually. The new GM is 14,000. I thought they would at least match the competition.
