I’m a long time Super Duty owner, have had a 7.3, a 6.4 and currently a 2015 F350 CCLB 4x4 6.7 with 110K on it. Been waiting to order a 2020 since January when the first info came out. I’m working with my dealer and used the order guide yesterday to spec out a 2020 F250 CCSB 4x4 with a new 7.3. It will be a fully loaded Lariat with both the sport and Tremor packages. As of this morning he told me Ford is not accepting orders yet. I have been buying Ford trucks from this dealer for over 30 years so I don’t think I am getting a BS answer. Monitoring this thread to see what other are hearing. I would love to think I will see this truck by year end but am not counting on it.
Tremor 35s (285/75R18), gets fender flares 18s
Vs.
Lariat sport gets 20s and no flares.
Several other diff as well.
Lol, I know those differences, as well as limited slip front etc., but for the price of the Tremor package on a Lariat do you also get blacked out grill, emblems and paint matched bumpers, like on the sport?
Did the dealer have any pricing? Specifically on the 7.3?
As of yesterday he indicated they did not have any pricing yet. I’m more concerned with getting the order in the bank so it can be scheduled ASAP. From what I see on the web scheduling will begin on September 12 and Job 1 at KY truck is Nov 4. Once it is scheduled and Ford has the pricing out I will firm up a deal with him. I’m also trading him my current truck.
Still no LED’s with Supercab is a joke, can get them in Canada with SC. Never mind the fact that 150 and Ranger SC both have LED’s available but not on Ford’s most expensive truck?
So that blue one, and a white one I've seen, are Lariats with Sport package and Tremor package? That could get really pricey.
That's my understanding after looking at the order guide. Its an off road package ,like the FX4 only with some real off road stuff.
My current truck is a SCSB XLT 6.2 . For me to get a tremor I have to go with a CCSB XLT with the 7.3 Imay get the Tremor. because I spend a lot of time on the forest roads in northern Wi and the UP. Those roads are a lot like what Ford is showing the Tremor drive through .Some people never use 4x4, my truck gets put in 4x4 most weekends.
The one odd thing I see are the wheels. The 2020 guide displays the exact same wheels as the 17-19’ MY.
The 2020 promo photos show the chrome 20” wheels on that red KR, as well as the aluminum wheels on the Limited as totally different, and definitely improved.
I wonder which one is correct?
I agree... I was disappointed to see that the wheels are still not being shown yet. I want to know which wheels are available on which models/packages
I am guessing that both the 7.3 and the Tremor are not going to be cheap. I think Ford is going to get a lot of guys like me who have run diesels for a long time to jump to the 7.3. The savings on maintenance cost alone is huge not to mention no DEF, no regens and no premium for diesel over gas at the pump. They are getting a $9K premium for a 6.7 over a 6.2 right now so I bet they try to get around $3K for a 7.3 over a 6.2 even though I would guess the pushrod 7.3 is cheaper to build then the OHC 6.2. I’m expecting a pretty big reduction in the Lariat sport and or the Tremor when ordered together since you only have the cost for one set of wheels and tires. Either way Ford has huge profits on the SD.
My dealer just called and they tried to submit the order but it was rejected due to NO PRICING...I trust these folks, bought there before, small town 2 salesmen dealer, I know everyone there...???
My guess is that everything is available in the legacy CONCEPS order entry system, but not the new web based order entry system. Not too many people use CONCEPS except fleet sales people any more.
My local dealers are all over the map for getting me a build into the system. One says they can't enter anything yet; another says they can't see a price sheet, another says it may be September before they can enter it....
These are pretty large volume dealers too, not small ones.
So I went to one of my local dealers and they had nothing in their system for 2020s.
Anyways, I have some general question about Payload.
Does anyone know the payload of a 2019 F350 6.7l Plat SRW with a regular bed? They had a F250 Plat 6.7l regular bed and the Payload for that one was 2026lbs. I'm hoping they up the payload on both F250/350 considering the new GMC 2020 2500/3500HD Denali have 3036/3700 respectively and both were fully loaded.
Have you seen gm trucks on the lot equipped that way with payload sticker that high?
Yup, my dealer had both a 2500HD and 3500HD Denali both fully loaded 6.6 Duramax. The first thing I asked was if I could see the sticker on the side of the door, lmao.
I'm just hoping the 2020 F250/350 are at least equal to the new GMs
