Morning all. So far this morning is better than yesterday when my truck lived up to it's brand (according to some) Found.On.Road.Dead. Not sure what the issue is but got to try out Ford's roadside assistance program. I can say that it works and within an hour the truck was at the dealer. Hope they can get a look at it today. I started a thread in the 6.2 forum and will update when I know more. Good times...
Once I got to work yesterday I spend the day talking about the finer points of design and constructibility of retrofitting tertiary filters and UV disinfection equipment with staff and consultants for a project I'm working on that the wastewater treatment plant.
That sewer plant stuff sounds like fun, (not). Had to chase a burglar through the plant on Riverside Drive many, many years ago. Of course that plant has changed since the 70's. While on Patrol at night we had to keep an eye out on some of their remote equipment that had red lights on the top of them. If the red light was on we had to have Sta 8 and later YCom so they could call whomever was on duty to come fix it before stinky things began to happen. The worst one was one they had put in out on 3 Mile Lane to support the Kingwood Addition. We had bought a house in Kingwood, then sold it 4 years later when I took the Lateral Transfer to Douglas County and Roseburg.
HAHA....yeah the "new" plant built in 96' is a whole different deal than the one you were running around in. The good thing about waste water treatment is no matter what is happening with the economy, everyone has to flush.

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Other than 30 mph wind today, it was otherwise nice. Got up to 68.3 today and a high very light marine layer moved in with the wind. Got the front lawn mowed, a few things picked up and the pickup and camper about 1/3 washed.
Listening to the scanner, the FD is on an interesting call. Someone's stove started arcing around a burner. They shut the stove off, but it is still arcing. Hmm.....
