howdy all.......all in all a nother good day. Cooling down tho......maybe some rain. Got my cousin caught up for a few days, so will go help another friend tomorrow.
Morning Pat and all to follow. 40 and windy at the compound, word has it rain is on the way. Finished up with my buddies backhoe yesterday took over an hour to wash it up. Put a new battery in it, greased it up and topped it off. Pretty sure that's why he lets me use it, He gets it back in better shape than when he drops it off.
Belated soggy morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Made it back from the mountain, Silver Falls State Park, yesterday evening just in time for a hasty clean up and then out to Fort Hill to meet with some friends. Visited with them until around midnight.
We made it to all 10 falls. It will be a while before I hear the end of it. We hiked 9.6 miles on Tuesday per the GPS. The sign says 8.7, but that didn't account for some of our back tracks... Nice weather during the day, just a little chilly. Got down to 24 at night.

This is a memorial Park Bench placed at the top of the South Falls end of the Canyon trail. Joe was my cousin, a retired Oregon State Trooper, then OSP Dispatcher and spent thousands of hours as a Volunteer at Silver Falls State Park. He was a jolly, humorous fellow and the Family reunions have not been the same without him.
