Hey!!! At least I speak the language, kinda.

When Camille and I got married July of 2015, the day we left on our honeymoon her middle son his 8 month pregnant wife and 2 year old son moved in. 6 Bedroom house in Riverton, midway between Provo and SLC. They were only paying about 30% of the going rate for it. Camille has complained about it never felt the same to her and she no longer felt welcome. Took her to the coast (Longbeach Peninsula) and she fell in love so now we sell the big place.

We've need to do this for 2 years now but had to wait to move them out so now we can. Since we were here in Argentina when they moved had to wait to pack it out but now we got a couple of weeks just to move out and fortunately there's not near as much as before and we're gonna start trashing stuff. Got a 30 yard dumpster starting the 27th or 30th.

By the way anyone looking for some Corvair Engines?? Got 4 complete and one in pieces in the garage. Basically wanta get rid of for the fuel cost to haul em. Also a 1600 cc and 2000 cc bug engines with transporter heads dual holly bug sprays and a lot of performance parts in the 2000. Her deceased husband was trying to start building hovercraft just before he died. Any possibilities PM me and we'll try to get together.

New canopy time! Can’t tell you how disappointed I am with my Snugtop quality...but the dealer, SuperHawk in Marysville, is taking it back and giving me a new one on their dime. Can’t sing their praise enough. When was the last time a company did that for their customer?

With the truck all in shape again, I’m taking the long way home. Even left the kids at home. I need some truck zen time

Well, I'm back on US soil, If you can call texas US soil as they think of themselves as a separate country.

I get into Portland at 11:20, pick up the rental car, the youngest is in school at North West Chiropractic so when the wife gets in from Salt Lake at 12:20 we're gonna take him to lunch. Then off to the coast, a coupla quick things to the truck then off to UTAH to empty the house and put it up for sale. figure 2 weeks then back to the beach.

ARE WE HAVING FUN YET??????

Done with the belly...the thin cuts came off after about 20 minutes and were a bit dry. But the thicker cuts (maybe 1/4”) went another 10 minutes and were perfect.

Round 2 was brauts; four different kinds. I went a bit too long on them, but haven’t tried any yet...hopefully I didn’t dry them out.

Warming some hot dogs on the smoker now for the kids. They don’t get the good stuff today. GO HAWKS!

Gotta love pork belly!!

I'm so trucksick - My Ex has been getting a full motor rebuild, new custom heads blah blah blah and we're going into the 4th week, but should get it back this week. Don't want to keep riding the hog with the weather going south real quick.

Haven't seen my truck in over a week. I do have some winter plans for it coming up though. New Rigid tool box, passenger tie rod, PMF brake lines and maybe a muffler install. Depending on money I might even be able to get the Header's installed.

Nice...gotta love those mods.

I’ve got a road trip planned on Saturday. Headed to Portland to check out some ham radio equipment and then over to Yakima to pick up a batch of tamales. Plus a stop in between at a shop to check out some camping/overlanding kit. ROAD TRIP!

Truck was back at the dealership this week for more bearing noise. Clowns are blaming my shocks... and claim there’s a Ford Tech sheet out on the problem and it’s all due to leveling and lift kits. Never heard of any other issues here. I got some new fancy grease in the bearings and sent down the road. I think I need a new dealership. Or maybe a true lift kit...

Bought a clean 6.0 4x4 Ex last night, so my white one is going to be stripped/parted out and then sold for whatever someone will take it for. Got my $3K worth of that repo for sure, but I'm not dumping thousands into V10 repairs and so much failed on the interior that it was unpleasant to use in the cold or at night. FS Auto Worx up in Arlington is swapping in a new injector before I bring it home. I'll get pics up later today and have some review of the shop up there in Arlington. So far, it seems to be a stand-up shop, nice folks with good 6.0 knowledge.

Welp, here she is:.
2003 Eddie Bauer
4x4
6.0L
215k miles
4" ProComp lift
35" Toyo Open Country
16" AWC rims
EGR Block
4" Cat-back exhaust
Most importantly - heat and interior features like dome lights work!!! =P

On the way down the freeway I drove 70mpg for about 10-15 minutes and the oil/coolant temps only hit the mid-170s. Does anyone have any input on whether that should be expected given the cold temperatures outside? The seller (diesel shop owner) says those temps should be expected and that his 6.0s run the same. The temp delta was a healthy few degrees, no more, so things seems stable.

Um
No, That engine is running COLD. You might want to check on how
much that shop really knows. Like the fact that there are only a a few
injectors that don't end up costing money.

2003 so you won't have to deal with Stand Pipes,Dummy Plugs or the STC fitting.
The trade off is the HPOP tends to be the weak link for the HPOP system.

I would drop into the local HI dealer and pick up the T-stat they have.
For some reason the Motorcraft one does not last long.

You may want this one or have them check and make sure that is the
correct PN for your year.

That’s a great looking rig. Looks clean and I like the stance. I hope she’s still got a lot of life left in her.

Just some thoughts.
A set of gauges that read live data. If you have a smartphone or a tablet
then you can use one of the OBD2 ELM devices and one of the apps.

Check and make sure the batteries and charging system are good. If they
are not up to the task they have the habit of killing the FICM. Also low fuel
pressure will eat injectors. Stop in the 6.0L forun and read the Tech Folder.

When you get tired of not being able to see going down the road at night
you may want to look at this thread.>>> https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...eadlights.html
Tony builds some nice lights. They are HID projectors. not the crap Ebay stuff.
