If congress passes the mandatory reciprocal agreement then I can save significant money, only need one then.
That would make things so mush less of a PITA when traveling.
The only problems will be like California doing some thing 180º from what the law is.
Watch they pull more of there normal BS. The first gun they take and destroy of a
person that is 100% in compliance with the Fed law if and when they get it is going
to have a hay-day with the courts in CA and then all the way to the top court. One
has to ask how much money it will cost CA in the long run to loose that case.
Ca already has mag limits and I bet they will try to get a local ban on carry in place
with something like a gun confirmation that is not even practical from a self defense point.
They also have the crazy release mechanism modification for "Assault Rifles". Where you have to have something to poke in the hole to drop a magazine. Used to have to buy parts for magazines to get more than 5 round capacities.
They also have a list of approved manufacturers and models that can be sold in the state. Found that out when I went to get a spare magazine for one of my pistols and they didn't even sell that manufacturer in the whole state so no parts.
Glad I don't reside in that communist state any longer.
New York and especially New York City have some real nutso laws also.
If they woulda looked in the back seat of my truck a couple years ago when I was travelling through they woulda put me in jail. I used to carry all of mine with me.
That rumor is one of the things they will be looking at.
Also there was some guy on the train that said that he had
a GPS app running before they got to the curve and it was
reading 83MPH. That curve is rated at 30MPH. So we will have
to wait and see what NTSB has to say. They had some of
the Go-Team on site fast because they were part of the west
coast team. You know they will be looking at everything.
The word is I-5 south bound may be closed for days.
Lets just hope that the fatality count does not go up
as they get access to the cars that are hanging from
the bridge,
The train made that run on Friday and this was the first
paying customer run.
Some of the Drivers in Puerto Rico are nuts, I was there for two months regarding Hurricane Maria and the aftermath. Not only are they crazy drivers, half or more of them are constantly texting.
Best one I seen here is the woman with her 2 kids on a motor scooter and she's talking on the phone going down the road.
Mostly they ride nothing bigger than a 125.
have seen a few 5 people up, mom, dad, baby in front of dad on the gas tank, maybe a 4 year old between mom and dad then the 5 year old behind mom. SCARY!!!
Morning snow report is we have a good 2 1/2 inches and it's still coming down. Stay safe out there and watch out for the crazies!
On topic of Ford trucks my truck burped out a about a cup of coolant while warming it up yesterday. As far as I can tell I think it came from the oil cooler pipe thing on the drivers side of the engine block. Yay another project!
