Could be a little stiction. How does the pre-start injector clatter sound when cole?
Should be a nice even chatter for each one. Oil change can solve that by going away
from the 15w stuff and running a 5W40. Also full synthetic helps. It can take a few
changes to really get it in control do to the fact that the engine holds several quarts
even after draining.

the clatter sounds good to me, I'll pay closer attention this evening when I leave work. Oil change will happen here soon, as I don't know what's in it now.
Right noe a 5 sec run of the starter is about what mine takes.
I know that my 2002 Rangers was running by the time you finished
turning the key to start even when cold.

ok, maybe just something to get used to. Mine fired up after work in about 3 seconds. Clatter sounded fine. I immediately jumped out and probed the battery, it started at 12.85 and climbed to 12.94 before I hopped in and headed home. As soon as I tapped the throttle my gauges jumped from 12.9 to about 13.3. Stays around 13.5 average on my phone gauges, temps maxed out at 192F, averaged 188-190F with a delta of no more than 4F coasting/idle, only 1F delta under power. Seems pretty OK to me. Drove great, nothing weird that I can notice. Got my filters and rad cap today, so those will go on soon, this weekend maybe.

Reason: Typos
Took three key turns today, but fired up fine on the third key turn. I cycled the key a second time in between second and third starting attempts. I'm wondering if it is just taking a little longer for the glow plugs to heat in the mornings. I might try the block heater for a bit tomorrow morning before starting just to see if that has any impact on starting the motor.
...again. My bearing issues are not going away (2nd set in 5 weeks are shot) and so out goes the level. I have no reason the believe the monster 1” lift (not even truly level) is causing the problem, but the dealership is starting to play hardball. Not. A. Happy. Camper.
I'm not sure if they are very clean, as there are plenty of spots on the outsides of them where the meter probes can't get a good reading. Worth looking into. It has been starting fine with two glow plug heating cycles in the morning. Gave me a hard time the other night trying to start after refueling at the gas station after driving all the way home from work. Been running great tho. Loving the rig.
For the love of God, don't go there unless your rig is bone stock. Find a good reliable independent mechanic. I've had nothing but trouble every time I've gone to LS.

Yeah, they were just handling my leveling shocks for me. They installed them, and that last trip was to drop the front back down to stock height. If I was to install a lift, I’d go to another shop. They’re great guys, but I just don’t trust them with that kind of stuff.
Happy Thankgiving everyone! I hope you’re all getting some good, relaxing family time and delicious food today. I dragged my hungover butt out of bed at 5:30 this morning to get our 25lb bird onto the smoker. So glad I bought a pellet smoker earlier this year. I was able to set the temp and go back to bed to sleep off the last of my stupidity from last night.
Well I have sort of been out of touch do to a misbehaving hard drive.
I got the one to replace the boot drive in my computer and for some
reason could not get the drive to clone to the new larger one. After
keeping at it I finally found out the problem was not the old smaller
drive but the new larger drive had an issue. Took a little work to get
the problem discovered and the fix was simple. The hard thing was identifying
where the issue was.
I hope to have email back tonight when I put the computer back together.
