The pin order from left to right is as follows:
1. Orange
2. Pink
3. Yellow
4. Maroon.
All this is normal. Are you sure your in tank pump is not running? There is a possibility that you simply have a failed pump. If you apply 12 VDC to the pink/black(+) and orange(-) terminals, the pump should run and deliver low pressure fuel(around 6 psi) to the frame mounted high pressure fuel pump.

Yup! When I pull the ebrake pedal upward, the light goes out. Looks like I have adjustments to do there also.

The good news is that the internal pump IS running. There was a break in one of the wires. That's been fixed and the internal pump is running again.

Now, I need to understand why I cannot pull any codes.

I cannot tell which light it is because the labels are all gone and my crappy Chilton doesn't explain the order.

Before I get into that, what order do the instrument cluster lights run. From left to right, is it the check engine light before the ebrake light or the ebrake light before the check engine light? I ask because the light farthest to the right flashes on briefly when I start the engine, but goes out. Yet, that is the same light that is on continuously when the ebrake connector is attached.

Subford, I will get my list and post them here, I have been trolling eBay for them and buying the ones I am missing. I did obtain a partial manual and listing of which overlay is for which system. Chris, as stated, has my monitor and monitor recorder (for 2 years). I only have one vehicle it will work on, a 1994 Taurus with 3.8L V6.

Looks like .dwg is a CAD format used by a product named AutoDesk, but there are apparently freely-available viewers I can try and make work.

I'm using Bill's stuff to try and figure out a problem on a 1995 Taurus SHO 3.0L MTX and got really delayed when my mom died.

Subford - if you could e-mail one or two .dwg things (ctubutis at yahoo dot com) I can try and make the viewer thing work, THANK YOU!!!

That's the best way. Sometimes converting to TurboCAD looses something in translation.

Happy to do so with pleasure!
There is still a slight resolution loss between CAD and JPG conversions.

Let me know and I'll PM an email addy to whomever ... If it's a bunch it might be easier to snail mail a CD!

Put them on Google Drive or Drop Box. As for printing, I use Bullzip. It is a free "printer" that creates a jpg or pdf, or whatever you want basically.

Well this is embarrassing.
I could not open the overlay files ending in *.dwg this morning and It has been a number of years that I did the work with them and could not open them up on the computer I was own. It is hard to remember some stuff when you get into your 70's.

So I opened them this afternoon when I got on an old computer with InterlliCad 2000 and they were for making the overlays with no specific overlay. I know I took photos of them and will have to find where I put them but it may take awhile. There still may be some *.dwg files some place.
