Is there anyone else in this thread that is waiting for their truck that ordered the factory sprayed in bedliner? I know 1634joe did but wondering if anyone else. Just trying to see what the build to release time is for them vs. not having it. Most trucks I see release the day of build or the day after. Not over a week later like mine.
My VIN 75373 was bumped up to be built 10/30 {yes Sunday, they are working 7 days a week} it has spray in bed liner dealer said I should see it 10 days after that....

Strange..........My truck was built 10/12 and it has a vin later than yours? How can that be? 75373 should've been built BEFORE 10/12 I would think. Is your VIN correct?
Btw......mine has the Ford spray in liner as well.
i don't think order tracking works. Also mine was built on 10/19 and has spray in bedliner. Supposedly shipped the next morning. I think the best tracking method is oasis and only your dealer can do it.
It was suggested to me that if the sprayin bedliner is ordered that the ETA may be delayed by a week to 10 days as Ford has a subcontractor do this rather than @ the Louisville assembly plant. It was recommended that to expedite delivery I should have an aftermarket sprayin done locally vs. let'n it set in Louisville after assembly for a subcontractor pick it up & do it @ some area facility & then return it to Ford.

Oasis only gives you service, warranty, and recall info. It will show build date AND release date though which ETIS doesn't do. The dealer logs into what is called Vehicle Visibility. That gives them primary and secondary status, ETA and rail car info if the vehicle is that far along in the process

Well I guess that explains everything then. Hopefully it gets back from spray soon so I can get an ETA again. Tomorrow will be 10 days since it was built.

That's the VIN the dealer gave me, I also had a friend at a Ford plant run the # he got the same dates.
When is your truck due in ??

I have no knowledge about this, but I find it very difficult to believe Ford takes a brand new truck off the assembly line, parks it, some subcontractor picks it up, takes it somewhere and spays the bedliner, then returns it to Ford. For thousands of trucks. Not to mention, not cost effective at all. I could be wrong but doesn't make sense to me.
