Ford chat tells me today my new ETA is 11-3 . This makes my 5 ETA on this build there all over the place. I sure will be glad when this is over and I can start enjoying life again lol

I wish they would give me an ETA again. Built 10/18 and still not released and chat still says that it's "In Production"
Yes it does. I just hope it doesn't get hung up in Ogden's railyard switching to get to the auto ramp in Salt Lake
I'm pretty familiar with that yard. I may have to find an excuse to go by there about the time it's expected in. I've never seen a photo of an ordered truck on a rail car. Maybe, just maybe...
Come to these forums everyday, as a way to try and control the excitement for my truck (2017, 250 Lariat 6.7L CC). Been two weeks since I ordered, and I am antsy as hell. My dealer insists it will be here within the next 6 weeks (no vin, order hasn't been picked), but reading through order dates here, I don't feel optimistic. Trying to decide if I am better of locating the truck I want, or something close to it. Have a couple of heavier items to tow before X-mas, and would rather not max out the 150.
I actually went in with my wife to get her a new car, and use me getting another truck as leverage for a better deal. I wanted a basic XLT CC gasser, and was prepared to drive of their lot that day. They had just gotten in a 17 Magnetic Lariat CC 6.7L, and it was sharp. The quad beams really caught my eye. Sales manager begged me to test drive it. Fell in love instantly. Wasn't sure I wanted to spend an extra $20,000, so they asked I take it over night. Sales manager said that would guarantee no one could buy it for 24 hrs. I drove in the following afternoon, ready to buy. When I said I was ready to pull the trigger, I was informed someone had placed a $5000 deposit on it, and since they were buying 6 trucks, the GM was giving it to him. That is what lead to me having to order (and that exact truck), and probably why I can't contain the excitement. I was ready to drive off that day, and expecting to. To then be told I have to wait "3-8 weeks," soul crushing.
Anyways, first post here. Tons of useful information, and love seeing pics of all the trucks!
Welcome to the forum. I'd say just soak up the whole order and wait process and enjoy it. It's amazing how much you can learn just by reading everything you can while the excitement is high. To me this is part of the fun. When you're spending as much money as you are, it's nice to get everything exactly the way you want it.

Welcome to the Forums. Hope there is much good information for you here while you while away the hours. I recommend you find something to do as this place is addictive. I have all but abandoned some projects over this drawn out wait which is almost agonizing at times. Anyway, hope your truck is here for you soon and be careful, if you hang out here too long you will find everything else in the order guide you really wanted!

Not just rocks guys........bullets too. Years ago (like 20 years ago) I had a friend who worked for the railroad. He mentioned that vehicles were coming with bullet holes. Hard to comprehend, but unfortunately not too hard to believe.
