Etis populated mine today, built on 10/19 and eta of 11/1-11/7. What did I do with all my free time since I ordered a truck and started spending hours on this forum😳

West coast has seen far fewer trucks than the rest of the country. Shipping takes sometimes weeks longer. My local dealers ranging from Bakersfield to Fresno have only seen a handful of the new SD's. Still have not seen a single one on the road yet around here. Fresno dealer has called me each time they've gotten one & so far that's been 3x. Visalia dealer has 3 or 4, only 1 higher trim level which is a Lariat they just got last week with a vin in the 20xxx range and a 9/16 truck. All others have been STX or XLT. Tulare dealer has just 1 XLT so far. Still not much to choose from on the West Coast.

My truck was ordered through a dealer in Oklahoma & is on a railcar right now in Kansas with an ETA of 10/27-10/31

Ok just talked with chat my truck is in transit now to Georgia but now my ETA has changed to 11-5 it's only 6-8 hours away so why has my ETA changed from 11-1 . I'm hoping the truck shows up in the next day or two. I don't know how to track it now that it on a convoy. It's probably not even possible

 

Yours is probably on the road or rail too. We were born the same day lol

 

Half way to me. The car just passed the California Junction in Iowa which keeps going westward or turns way north. I'll know in a few hours which way it went.

 

That's so cool to be tracking your truck. I wish you could do the same with convoy. Your waiting is almost done are you going to camp out at dealership when it gets closer

That's a cool view of the Baily Yard. Had no idea there are so many rail fans out there but there sure are. This rail car already spent three days just sitting in Gibson, Indiana. No movement, just sat there. Then I check in this morning and find that it's moved across two states over night. And yes, I'd love to be at the dealer when the truck gets there. Just a matter of timing and circumstance.

 

MIne is also in transit, trying to get my dealer to respond to see if I can learn anything. i wonder if its on the same train as epics

Well Kampm we have same ETA or I did maybe when the truck stops by Tennessee and drops your off he'll head down to Georgia and drop mine off .

 

Joe, we'll keep our fingers crossed for that very road trip :-) On a whim I hopped on the ford chat and asked if they could give me an ETA. Here was their response:

"I am showing that your vehicle is currently awaiting shipment. It is scheduled to arrive at the dealership by October 28, 2016. Please allow 2-3 business days for the dealership to inspect and prep your vehicle after delivery"

 

Kampn mine according to chat says mine is in transit but my ETA changed from 11-1 to 11-5 . Ky is only 7 hours from here and mine is going convoy so I can't see it taken that long but will see. Good luck to you
