Rob - I definitely should get up there someday and check out that museum. I've lived here since '99 and have yet to visit it.

I'm hoping mine is on the same rail car as I have the same dates as of now. If it's on the next rail car to Utah I'm sure my dates will change.

The trucks are selling as fast as they hit the dealerships around here. There's a half dozen dealers near me and they've all received and sold probably a couple hundred trucks between them. I've only seen one in the wild though and it was at night and kind of far away. Those tail lights are distinctive.

I have only seen them on the Highway, I think I have seen 3 since these were released. None in town. If I get mine next week, it will be one of the first in the area.

Well, I finally got some news tonight. The pre-delivery inspection was completed tonight. Monday it goes in for tint and clear film. My salesman said truck will be ready Tuesday. Man, this last week has been a little frustrating, but it will all be worth it come Tuesday!

Interesting is my dealer is a high inventory dealer, supposedly highest volume in the country, and they have only received and sold one truck. and it was an XLT Mine will be the first "high end" truck they have seen.

That is interesting. Maybe a west coast delay. I'm just guessing on the 200 number but I've been in touch with 4 of them and kind of extrapolating for the others. They each talk about selling almost immediately and I know Larry Miller in Salt Lake City gets a few every couple of days. Just doing the math over 6 dealerships in the last two months it could be upwards of that many.

Hmm. My ETIS has finally fully populated and all the info is populated in OASIS but no release date. Wonder what has happened there? Usually release date is the same day or the day after the build date. Anyone with any insight?

What day was yours built? Mine was built on 10/19 and Etis only shows the build date. Apperantly it shipped by jack Cooper transport. Suppose to go by rail. I wonder if they convoy to the rail yard?

Built 10/18. ETIS won't show a release date, only the build date. Also on Chat I previously had an ETA of 10/23 but now they say NO ETA. They are also still saying it's status is "In Production" which it has been in since the 10th.

This is an old video, but at least at that time, the truck was completed then the bedliners were sprayed in. This is also how it was done on the old Super Duty with not only the bedliner but also the remote starters were installed after the truck was built instead of in process as it went down the line in a separate building.
