Thanks Joe now for the long wait for shipping. It showed up on Etis about the same time. And Coitus still shows nothing

Cool thanks for the reply. Based on that it seems as though they have the camera supplier issue resolved that was causing the delay on the platinum ultimate trucks. Maybe they'll get started on mine shortly then.

Have you checked with ford chat? Or asked your dealer for a vehicle visibility report?

if you talk to your friend again perhaps you could ask how the process is done with the factory sprayed in liner. I show a build date of 10/18 for my truck but just talking to dealer a few minutes ago he said it was sent to body company. I am assuming that's for the liner but not sure. Also I don't show a released date in OASIS like a truck would that has been released to shipping.

I believe the bed liner is sprayed at the plant but could be wrong. I got it on mine too. I was under the impression that once it leaves chassis to goes straight to shipping yards unless there's something missing or body work needed

Hopefully yours doesn't sit at the Distribution Yard for a week when it gets to your location. I am not sure I have been this frustrated in a long time, that's what happened to mine

Thanks for the good karma but I actually talked about this with the dealer. All Ford deliveries are unloaded at the Salt Lake City Roper rail terminal and pretty quickly dispatched to the dealerships. They apparently don't wait to fill car haulers and use the smaller 3 car trailers that can be transported by a dually Ford or Dodge. I think we saw the first truck on this forum delivered that way and it was delivered on a Dodge/Ram/Fiat whatever. This is what I'm told but what actually happens may be something else entirely. So far however, only once have I seen a delay and that was the extremely optimistic build date very early on. All dates have held solid or actually decreased in my case.

Yea, my Dealer said the same thing. Unfortunately they are at the mercy of those distributors. saw mine on a 3 car hauler this morning. this afternoon it was gone, so that is a good sign. Once they complete the Pre-delivery Inspection at the Dealership, send it off for Tint and Clear Film, I should see it Tuesday or Wednesday. Thought for sure that with mine being in town since last Friday that I would have been driving it by now. overall been a fun experience tho
