My status as of this morning's Chat session:

Ordered 8/31
Built 11/4
ETA 11/28 (about 3 months)
What I'm reffering to is the time between when it's built, and when it leaves the plant.

I did find out today from my dealer that my truck has a hold on it, they don't know why or how long it will be.

Just had a call from Regional Customer Service to let me know the truck was built yesterday and sometimes the other systems get their status information at different times. So to everyone with good wishes, thanks. Hope this is the last of this long trip....
And Ted they still might be on the same car.

Ford has received and confirmed my order. A vin will be provided in the near future along with a projected build date.

When you have a vin, please post it along with projected build date and major options ordered. This will allow us to see if certain options are delaying production, etc....
ordered Platinum ultimate
6.7 cc swb : Black

16/08/22 ordered

16/09/15 VIN

16/10/ 22 window sticker

16/10/29-30 etis shows built.

16/11/03 shows shipped.

16/11/09 dealer provides car number TTGX 992085
and current location.

Train scanned by car reader at that time to be alsershot OAKVILLE.

I entered the car number at work and it showed spotted at the auto ramp track A030 @03:45 11/11 by one of our train crews.
She is off loaded waiting for a truck to the dealership for
the last big rig ride.
I want to drive her home 😍

Dealership say the the 19.

I think maybe Monday or Tuesday

I yarded my train just next to the auto compound on the 10th
and just yarded another one at 4 am this morning!!
too dark to pick out my truck
Kept looking for it lol! So close but can't see it. But the paperwork says it's here 🚂 ..
Soon!!

The most frustrating thing has to be when you've tracked your truck build the whole way from the day you ordered, to the VIN being issued, the window sticker being issued, the truck being built, the truck being released from KTP, the truck boarding the northeast bound train, the truck being unloaded from the railcar at the shipping yard, then the dealer marking your truck sold in the system to be able to take advantage of a rebate, but not being able to track it any further because the last truck haul portion of the ride isn't traceable, then getting to and passing your ETA and not arriving at the dealer yet.

At this point in the process I am trying to keep busy at work to pass time ! Lol
We move a lot of tri levels (ETTX) and bi levels(TTGX)
in our system. I call it a dealership in a box.

When you have 100 to 140 mixed cars. That's around
2000 automobiles and or trucks on a train.

My dealer is about an hour away. I might go up Tuesday and buy the salesman lunch.

I checked the auto ramp this morning while at work. No more Ford trucks in sight!

That can only mean it left the yard loaded. As I have watched many Superduties get loaded on transport trucks
over the last few months.

Our business at work is up 15%. As the bosses explained we have captured a greater portion of the auto business from our competitors.
We are now #1 in moving the auto traffic.
I would imagine that the rail company I work for pushes the trucking outfits to keep it moving.
We see the trucks loading nonstop night and day.
They are always clearing off the autoramp to make room for the next train spot.

My wife is getting excited. Almost more than me
She keeps telling me she owns half of my truck.
My answer is your right ! Too bad your side doesn't have a steering wheel!

ETIS / COTUSB Websites

Do the ETIS and COTUSB websites lag? I got my VIN two weeks ago, about a week later I found my Window Sticker but am still unable to get any info on these two sites. According to the dealer today is my Build Date!!!

COTUS is useless. doesn’t ever show anything.
From what I understand ETIS is updated the day after the truck is built.
Mine was supposed to be built yesterday. ETIS does not reflect that today

My first one (wrong color ordered) was scheduled to be built yesterday. Last ETA update from chat was 12/15/16. Last 5 of the vin is 06749. Does not look like the vin has anything to do with order of build.

tracking ETA?

Our SD was ordered in JUL, got a window sticker in OCT, & vehicle built 17 NOV. It appears to be awaiting shipment by CONVOY from KY to IA. Other than annoying our dealer daily for an ETA, is there an electronic way via the world wide web to track its progress?
