Did the 3" risers allow you to ride level? I've got a 36 TKSB4 with a 2017 DRW 350 and I'm nose high, but not sure how much. I have the Curt 24 hitch set at 15" and about 5" clearance at the tailgate with the trailer cowling. Our DRV has the Lippert Trailair Centerpoint suspension and I was thinking of installing the Lippert alignment calibration kit which raises it 2". With your 3" riser install, did they just add a 3" channel iron underneath and add new shackle brackets? I'm afraid my nose high situation is causing the "chucking" I'm feeling, pretty much all the time. My wife's not happy with the ride at all and I'm trying to save divorce quickly... I'd appreciate your help with this.

Bigdon...we have a DRV 2016 Cincinnati43 and are looking at the 2017 F450's. Concerned about the bed rail clearance - we do not have the 2" riser. How much clearance do you have with your new truck? You mentioned you might get the riser done over the winter...did you?

Would appreciate any information you can share...thanks.

I am so sorry. I've been off the forum for months. The earthquake last fall kept me busy (I work at North Anna power station) and winter has been filled with projects. Did you do the 480 installation? How did it go? I've had no problems with an uncovered compressor. All bolts do corrode so be sure and do periodic checks on all fasteners or go with stainless steel. Hope all went well. Best of luck with the setup.
