It may be Ford bumping orders. I have been bumped twice now. It seems like it's a holding pattern as they have for airplanes trying to land. You will land eventually but only GOD knows when. They don't have their act together at all on this launch.
If ford was smart they would have timed the delivery schedule for 9/5. Once college football starts most all trucks ordered to go mid west and southeast won't really even be remembered. Then ford could just do the builds out west first.
I'm kidding of course, but the wait would be easier if we had football....
I finally got my window sticker and being told on chat that's it in production but ETIS or chat still don't show a build date 1FT8W3BT0HEB33057. Any idea on how long it takes to get a build date

Mine was in production status for 3 weeks. It should be noted that there were numerous rumored delays (ie camera system) during that three weeks.....so...I have no idea if that is normal or not.
Cool boat, really nice. We have a number of old wooden boats on a couple of the major lakes near me, mostly Chris Craft.
That would probably Lake Winnipesaukee. An acquaintance from there is Mark Mason who is probably one of the foremost boat builder and restorer for historic boats in the country lives there and has his shop New England Boat and Motor Company. If down that way you might want to look at some of his work. He has done several famous racing boats and numerous restorations.

Winnipesaukee is one lake, Sunapee is the other. There's a ton of money surrounding both lakes. Winnie is the biggest lake in NH, but Sunapee is still decent sized at around 8 miles long. Good fishing on both. I tend to see more wooden boats on Sunapee, but that's probably because the lake is smaller.
BUILD PROGRESS or lack there of. Just heard back from SalesGirl and she forwarded a message from the regional rep. It is as follows:
I heard back from our Scheduler, see XX’s response below. As he says, this is a very fluid situation and is subject to change based on how the plant runs:
Good morning Rxxx,
I’m sorry, the plant is having a lot of production issues. We still have about 50 orders from the Pittsburgh region that haven’t scheduled. I just heard that we aren’t going to schedule Super Duty again until 9/15, so there isn’t much I can do. We were supposed to schedule them next week, but that just got cancelled this morning. It is a very fluid situation and is subject to change based on how the plant runs.

Why would it matter what region the order was from?
"Very fluid situation..." What is there, an active shooter?
This is crazy. No scheduling until 9/15. What in the world is Ford doing? Seems like they were not prepared at all and now they are in a scramble mode.
Trucks with no VIN. If you are lucky to have a VIN then good luck with the truck actually getting built.
Ones that are built are not being released for one reason or another. Trucks that are cleared to ship and not being shipped.
It seems like they have problems at every stage.

I can visualize the problem. Lots of guys are getting postponed dates for vehicles already scheduled, sometimes two or three times. And then the actual date is days or weeks later. If I were a scheduling manager I would put a hiatus on orders until those already scheduled are under control. Why schedule more when the ones on the board are not being built? It does build a lot of false hope if the plant cannot perform. Makes sense to catch up a little. But I really wish mine was one of the first rather than hanging in the abyss of off the grid until further notice.
