Sounds like y'all had a decent time. I honestly didn't think that was possible without me being there.
I sat here all day for somebody that was supposed the be here "1st thing in the morning" that showed up after 4:30.
Shortly after that Shari and Tim wanted to go out for dinner, and after I feed my neck like I did, I'm finished.
Glad we were able to help out a little. Thanks for the delicious lunch. It was nice meeting your friends and their families. Well behaved kids and dog. Glad yall were able to get the brewer going. If you don't get to the winch this week maybe we can wrap it up next weekend. I have a few niggles to sort on my dirt bike as well.
Looks like you had a good time and accomplished a good bit.
I had intentions of working on the exhuast on my truck since there is no longer a exhuast length rule I'm going to shorten it and remove the rusted out Flowmaster and only run a turn out from the header. Maybe I can get to that after I get a couple hours of OT in the morning.
Had to get on the roof and try to find/stop a leak that developed around the sunlight in the bathroom last week in all that super hard rain we had. I think I got that fixed I guess we will see the next 3 days when it starts raining.
Pulled the plugs on the bike to make sure my thoughts were right and it definitely lost spark to the rear cylinder. Both rear plugs (2 plugs per cylinder) were fouled so I pulled the tank hoping to find loose wires on the coil but no such luck. This is the same coil that was acting up a couple months back when I had a coolant leak running down it. I looked up a new OE coil but they were like $140. Found a couple new ebay specials for $37 shipped but I was kinda leary of those. Ended up ordering a used one from a guy here in NC from a wrecked bike with 8k miles. Guess I'll get that on and 2 new plugs thrown in it and see how it runs when it gets here.

Until next time.
So the girlfriend is moving next weekend, and I got volun-told that I was helping. but After that, not sure. I should be able to get the ground sorted out this week see it will start turning again. There are a couple other wires in there I don't like as well, so I'll probably change those out, or fix them somehow.
Josh, you moving the girlfriend in with you? Or just helping her move?
I hope to get my Indemnity Bond for Ka'Bluey's title today, then to the license office and finished, I hope.
It looks like I'll be able to get the seals and rear brakes for Ka'Bluey the end of this month. Hopefully a good ol' fashioned tune up to boot. I'd bet money that those are the same plugs, and oil that I put in there years ago. That oil is plum nasty.

No not moving in with me at this time. We really don't feel we have been dating long enough to co-habitate. Besides, she teaches at a school on the other side of Wake County, and wouldn't enjoy the commute everyday. We're trying to find her a school or position on this side of the county, but haven't had much luck yet. She'd prefer teaching in a private school at this time.
But anyway to get back on track on what this thread is supposed to be about Marty and I took a look at my medium size trailer the other day while he was here. After measuring we found that the outside measurements of the Jeep tires are just about an inch or two too wide for the fenders on the trailer. So we're debating cutting the fenders back or not. Guess I need to decide how often I plan on putting the jeep on it.
Sorry about the coil issues Larry. Sometimes automotive coils will cross over and are less expensive and more reliable. I'm sure there are forums where folks have had similar issues. Hope you get it sorted out.
Step by step eh Bob? Glad the pieces are coming together.
The dirt bike is 30 years old so there isn't much it doesn't need. But overall it's in decent shape.
It's been sitting a few months without use so it probably needs some basic attention to get it running. Hopefully wont have to pull the carb. Have to decide how much I want to do to it before the fling. Needs new fork springs, oil and seals. Could use a new rear spring. If I did the forks I'd do the steering bearings. Not difficult stuff but time consuming and budget.
Got done with work this morning and got my exhuast the way I wanted it. They changed the rules lastly year, I use to have to have a muffler and the pipes had to go to behind the cab. Now the rules don't say anything about mufflers or a length required.
Before...
And now...
Basically I only did this to keep the headers from packing full of mud when being pulled out. Gonna turn those to the side so that it'll blow exhuast out the sides.

James, if that carb needs to come off and needs a rebuild kit, I have a gallon can of carb/parts cleaner you are welcome to.
Had a good time Saturday and we got a little work done. The great host even gave us a bit to eat. Can't beat that!
I spent the day yesterday getting my Linux box up and running. First time in three years that I've had to do anything to it. When it crashed, it crashed lol. I'm dual booting with Window 7 so that made it even more fun. Then to top that off some of the repositories are down due to attacks so finding some of the software was a challenge. I got it done though, so hopefully I'm good for another couple to three years.
I think it's time for some Apple Pie!
You folks be good! Really getting excited about our Spring Fling!

Yea I don't think a automotive one is going to cross over. I've got 2 coils, and 4 wires/plugs. Got the coil unbolted just got to pull the wires when the other one gets here. Didn't wanna do that and take a chance on the wires ending up backwards...
So I bought a tranny and it's still in the truck. I can't pull by myself, so wondering if anyone can help in the next weekend or two. The truck sits in a south suburb of Sanford.
