I swear to god, if they make the new Bronco a four door I'm going to lose it. It's bad enough that the top isn't going to come off.

I have it parked in the driveway, will run it for an hour or so each night then do an oil change Saturday and add in another quart of Type F. It worked great with my '79 a few years ago.

The odometer says 92k, and I hate to be that guy, but I am leaning towards that being true. It has the emissions sticker still on it, the carb tag still on it, the hot air choke is still intact and functioning, all the vacuum hoses are routed correctly and none of them look replaced. I don't think it was ever taken care of properly, so I need to just catch up on the maintenance.

I am leaning towards pulling the carb on Friday and letting it soak in Berryman's overnight then putting it back on Saturday. Saturday I will pull the valve covers and have a look see, then replace the gaskets. The EGR plate should get a good cleaning too, hopefully it isnt cracked or what not.

Congrats Jkl. Looks like a good starting base for one heck of a project truck. Can't wait to see more of this truck.

Thanks, Redneck.

I am at the smog shop now, I doubt it will pass but a fail gives me a temporary 60 permit to drive, lol.

Bought one of these steering thing-a-ma-jigs for my 78 F350 dually, if it fits I'll buy the other 2 that the guy has for my 75 F250 and other 78 F350 Dually, they're $75 a pop.

Picked these up for my 20 Overland, they are true knock offs and come with the knock off adapters, hardware and spin locks. they're 15" x 6.5"

What are those steering wheels originally from? Going to be interesting to see them mounted.

They're from a model T Jon, I'll probably have to modify the turn lever for clearance, the steering wheel is an inch bigger than my stock wheel. I'll try using a Grant mounting kit and see where that'll take me, have a paver stone job to do first and then it's moving month.

I live in Southeast Denver. Anyone want to rent a workspace together to work on trucks, or anyone have a space they want to rent out?

So we have Ford long beds, short beds, and a shlong bed in progress.

What about a 1967 Ford plain old bed?

Why can I never see Tedster9's post until like 30 minutes after he posts? It shows that he posted on the forum main page but when I look for it in the post it isn't there?

Very weird. And he is the only one, I think, that it happens with.

Russian interference, Macedonian content farms. That's what the man on the TV said. Sorry about that.

When I read this I was confused cz I haven't seen a post by him, but when I just got back on and saw he posted in here, I still can't see the post from him

Edit* as soon as I hit submit his post popped up... maybe he's like beetlejuice? Or Bloody Mary lol

If you are selling stuff on CL, make sure you know what you are selling. Guy said he had 5 Hurricane wheels. I drive an hour there and they are rusty steel spokes, not Hurricanes. Still wanted $40 a wheel too. Also, let's be honest, there is hardly anything "rare" on these trucks. A dual shock set up is not rare, a complete front and back sway bar set are not rare, and a freaking 460 is not rare. $2000 for a questionable engine, $200 for dual shocks, and $350 for sway bars is just nuts. That's New England for ya.
