Anyone else having trouble with ads at the bottom of the page that you can only see half of (unable to mute or stop) that causes the page to jump to the bottom so you can't read anything?
Not on this site fortunately. But I've had that before on some others.
What browser are you using? I use Firefox still and am not having that issue so far.

Just started doing this to me today, driving me crazy!!!! Have been holding the scroll bar on the page with my mouse so it stays still???????
Try AdBlockPlus. Dunno if it works on microsoft browsers, but it sure does on firefox and chrome.
Another thing is to check the page-load status. Most browsers have a little indicator which tells you that the page is still loading. There should also be an X, maybe where the refresh button is, and sometimes clicking that X will stop the page load, and thwart all of the resource-hogging ads and videos on a page. Many news sites are virtually unusable, but want you to turn off your ad blocker. I just back out of those sites. Screw 'em...
It is getting cold here. I am seriously thinking of wearing socks with flip flops, a definite fashion statement no-no here in SoCal, but I can't be blamed, my caveman survival instincts are taking over.
