I've embarked on another project using spare parts... I think I have enough parts for two! It'd be nice to have working in the shop, camping, tailgating etc..... I'm gonna hack a new HF power pack for its 17 aH sealed lead acid battery and trickle charger.
The head unit will have AM/FM/CD/USB/MP3 and a AUX port. The face will have room for a digital voltmeter, USB charger, and 12V power port, and a cigarette lighter. I could add a charge controller and solar panel but I am attempting to show some restraint.

You must have really sensitive hearing HIO LOL, I'm going studio sound with my system and it's got a bit more boom but I'm looking to hear every note not just loud sound.

Hahaha. I listen to everything.. Thrash, rock, metal, classical, older rap, 70s and 80s RnB, country (Johnny Cash was a master), new country.
I'll just say that the first Kaboom Box will not have a solar charger but will have a cigarette lighter .......and I don't even smoke.
As an FYI, here are some pics of the HF power pack's innards. I'm sure yall too can come up with alternative uses!
