I had no idea an Earthquake hit this morning until I read your post. There is nothing on the front page of my home page. I had to google it to read it on CNN. Hopefully they will get power back on soon for those folks.
I heard about it from my mom when I was at her house this morning after removing the snow from her driveway and front walkway. Unfortunately I don't know any details other then when I asked my wife about it, she then told me it registered a 7.9 magnitude earthquake. I would've thought there would be more info readily available about the quake, other then actively searching for the info. on your own.
The last couple of days has been pretty warm here. Almost all of the snow that we got on Friday and Saturday has melted. I am seeing green and brown grass in my yard. And Saturday I had about 15" when the snow finally stopped. Yesterday was almost 40 degrees farenheight, and today was 50. But tomorrow is supposed to be cold and snowy again.
I agree with that Allen. Also let me say that my thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by the earthquake in Alaska this morning.

Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers.
I ended up heading to work earlier that day (rotational work at a remote site) and the wife was all alone with 4 young kids. She was pretty rattled, no pun intended. Luckily we did not loose power, nor and broken gas or water lines at our place. Not everyone was that lucky. We only had a few broken picture frames/glass and vases. Come spring we'll see if the house settles any different than normal and causes and cracks to show up in the sheetrock and or foundation.
She's a tough gal, but I felt bad she had to deal with it all on her own.
I thank the Lord for him looking over my family.
Godspeed

Amen to that. Glad ya'll came through it in good shape.
Sorry for the delay Rich. I've been rather hectic this week with work. I did see the pictures, but didn't have a chance to reply. AK FORD GUY glad to hear that you and your family is ok. I can only imagine how you felt during the quake and being away from your family.
