Randy, I was able to clean mine from below. I had to stand on something to get up there. I considered turning the fan on and spraying the snot out of it with degreaser. But I figured with my luck I would have degreaser on every wall. It did take a long time, but the results were worth it. I had no idea that the fan blades were clear plastic.

Randy,
I just had to do it! LOL ! I'm sure you didn't cheapen out here but you Minnesotians!

Everybody wants Price - Performance - Quality but the stark truth is, you can only pick two of the three.. Always..

William,

How old is the date code on the tire?

Don't you just sometimes wonder how a tire can come apart so bad while the others still look good? Under inflation maybe. You know you probably didn't hit a puncture with a tire just ahead.

Hopefully no damage above.

I think I have four different brands of tires on my trailer. It came this way. I think the prior owner was conducting a test of tire brands.

I had replaced all 4 tires 4 years ago. Pressures are checked before every trip. This was the forward DS tire. The tire behind it showed a bit of chuncking off the tread, and was replaced the weekend prior to this failure. Most of the tire carnage occured during the 2 mile/5 MPH journey to get off the interstate to change it in a safe spot. Steel wheel wells kept the interior protected.

Have since replaced them all with Maxiss M8008's. Used to always be in town, but had to order them in this time.

Got my solar metering all wired in. Panel output/controller output/ and trailer load/usage.

My 12yo Atwood tounge jack failed a couple of weeks ago. Replaced with a Husky Brute 4500#. Brought the trailer home today after 2 months in Utah. First disconnect and I was impressed. It still wanted to keep going. LOL

LOL at William's use of his new tongue jack! Nice horns William.

I installed my Husky 4500 today. It took longer to do the wiring connections than to do the rest of the install. Nice unit.

Wow, looks like I have some fun to look forward to after our new TH shows up. Thank you Scott for pointing out this thread. I zipped through it real quick and already see some mandatory items on my list. This may be our first 5thr but not really our first TH. I did a Cargo conversion a couple years back, we enjoyed it several trips out but decided we were tired of being so cramp, plus our Scottie is demanding he get to go on our outings.

Here is a slide show of the Cargo Conversion. Trailer Cargo Conversion Slideshow by slyhuntr | Photobucket

I think the dry weight was 1900#, I have never gotten it weighed since I completed it. If I had to guess it is probably around 2900#.

Man that seems pretty light...

This guy with my SxS in it and a buncha tools we're heading south with - weighed in at 3600# and 660# tongue weight.. This Jeep does not tow it normally, I just hauled it across town and weighed it. Normally tow with either the SD or our Jeep Rubicon Unlimited..

This trailer is 6x12

I'd like to find a toy hauler that would come in at around 4000# loaded that would also have a toilet, shower and cook surfaces..

That 1900# is what the empty weight was when delivered. After installing A/C, kitchen area, RR, bed I guess all that may have been about 1000#, maybe a bit more. Loaded with gear and RZR, I may have been loaded around 5500#. Originally we were going to tow with a 99' Durango with a 5.9 Liter engine, it towed it with air bag lift but it didn't like the hilly country. I decided I need more power and found the 01' SD with the 7.3L, glad I chose that truck as we have chose a different path.
