Cool project Brandon! I haven't seen an old school XLR like that in a long time.
Had to match the truck (or the budget) bought it last summer. It is a 2002 I think. It will need some rebuilding in the future. Found some soft spots when installing solar panels. At the moment nothing leaks and everything works. That reminds me to double check the furnace, may need cleaning.
Back at the mods finally! The JT Stongarms made a night and day difference in the stability of the trailer. I could barely make the mini blinds move flailing like a manic. I then loosened the t bolts and the wife thought I was gonna knock it off the Lego blocks doing the same motion. Well worth the time and $240. May still move the front center arms back to between the jacks. Will need to build a crossmember to do that as there is no support there.

How is it with just the front landing gear tightened? I could only add it to them on mine. I always wondered if you really needed to do both legs or just one.
The rear legs added a ton of stability for me. But 45' long. May nit be as critical on shorter ones. But large difference...
OK thanks I won't get the front then. One of my rear jacks jacks was ripped off when I bought it and I bent up the other one. I carry jacks in a compartment and put under when I setup so I couldn't use the supports with them. Now that I have the hitch fixed so it is level rear jacks might not get destroyed again so I could try them mounted.

Cause I am a tight *** I only bought two sets of arms and put them on my left front jack and my right rear jack. It helped allot but what I think bugs me the most is the bounce from the suspension.
That's when I started using the screw jacks under the equalizer in between the wheels. I think that helps some but it usually takes a day or two of adjusting as everything settles to get that adjusted.
last Halloween I had it rock solid but had trouble with the shower door being racked. I didn't notice until I got home but the shower worked fine off the jacks. The main difference that trip was raising the jacks too tight I think.
I heard of a setup technique wear you leave the trailer nose down an 1" then you lower the rear jacks to snug. Then you raise the front to level with the electric jack then snug the front jacks.
That worked awesome but caused the shower door issue, still not sure how to resolve this.
BAL just came out with a 3 point system I would like to copy. It has electric jacks behind each rear tire and one tongue jack with a automatic controller. I want replicate that with out the auto function as I don't think it is necessary.
Added a second D&W super slider sewer hose tube to replace the twist in Valterra I had to take off to clear the Strongarms. Rodney found a winner with these.
Also started on the propane quick disconnect. Got it all fabbed, painted and waiting for final assembly.
Finished propane QD last week. Cap on the T I attached to was stupid tight. Found a nick in the sealing surface. Guess the assemblers thought it was better to just crank it tight til it stopped leaking rather than replace it. I cleaned it up with a scotch brite pad and got it to seal. Test run!
Also decided I hated the front center strongarms not being in the same plane as the jack legs. Built a little crossmember today to remedy that. Tied into generator compartment floor in 4 places, and sides of gen mount frame. Should give it the needed rigidity. All tore out to paint and then final install can begin!
Have a water filter setup coming this week to install and a few other mods waiting in the wings.
