Looks awesome Jim. where did ya get the extendable pole? Hoping that would hold a DTV dish? Guessing it weighs around 12 pounds....
The pole came with the Weboost Destination RV kit, but you can buy just the pole. 12 pounds seems like a lot of weight to put on that pole. I have no idea what it's rated for.
That'll work, as long as the antenna mast is small enough. Mine has a diameter of 2.5". You have to dig through the Q/A section where the vendor says that it should fit 2.5".
I'm going to play around with my ladder attachment. I was planning to create something like in that product. This part.
I tried my hand at bending some aluminum for a bracket. The plate on the right will fit on my 1" ladder tube. I pressed my luck trying for a 90° bend and my aluminum flat bar - on the left - just broke. If I want a 90° I'll have to weld two pieces together.
Sorry, didn't mean to create extra work for ya! I do some fabricating and have a couple buddies that can do it for me as well. But, I'm sure there's already something out there that is premade and you can purchase. Finding it is another story..... Thanks for the info Jim!
Added some modular shelves to the interior. Needed a place to put clothes, shoes, etc. These are Gladiator brand from Lowes. You mount the rails to the walls and can install any combination of wire shelves, baskets, or different hooks. Easy install and we can remove/ shuffle shelves and baskets to suit our needs. Getting ready now for a trip to Henry's Lake and Yellowstone. Taking the Ural and one side by side.
In my new toy hauler the OEM tie downs were in a terrible location. The OEM tie down is located at the three o'clock position. I added two new tie downs (6 o'clock position) that are as close to inline with the tires as I could get and still secure the tie down into the frame. Adding tie downs for the front is going to be very interesting. I suspect that the fresh water tank will be in the way.

On mine they were in a terrible location also, and located over the water tank.
What I did was follow the pattern of the originals after replacing the one that was in the floor with a newer heavy duty style using the same bolt. and then installed one next to it in line with the tire.
The originals had a large bolt going through the frame so I used that same pattern with four wood screws in the floor for more strength.
New vehicle tie-down points.

Reason: Spelling
As I remember, the center bolt that was in the original tie-down was screwed into a metal cross beam, but the other 4 I installed only went into the wood floor.
