I'm pretty sure that bee will be there another 45 years, it looks very well preserved. Thanks for the complement Doug.

Baja
The PO installed the moon roof. At some point I'm going to have a few places repainted, and at that point I'm going to remove it. When I take it out it's all yours.

Thanks Andre! I think you need to be the official football coach of the Bump Side Kingdom. What was your record this year...10-0??

I got them from Dennis Carpenter, you get a pair of them for $60. You'll also need
3M PN 08008 Black Super Weatherstrip Adhesive 3M PN 08008 Black Super Weatherstrip Adhesive
. Get two tubes because it takes 2/3rds of a tube per door. You need to put glue on both sides of the mounting rib and a helper to hold the weather striping from falling into the glue while you spread the weatherstrip apart and wrap it around the mounting rib. The main ingredient is methyl ethyl kablamo so you might want to do a test application on an inconspicuous area first. It took about an hour per door.....I know, I'm just really slow.

Maybe with my A/C working, I won't need it for the ventilation ?? Vamos a ver... (We shall see)..
Anyway, you've done a fine, fine job on your truck amigo... its always a pleasure to see pride in workmanship. If your truck was on the Voice, I'd turn my chair, as plenty of heads must do, when you drive by..

Thanks Baja, I just want to get it running.

I got the engine in yesterday afternoon.

I had to temporarily put the cover on the tranny to get it 4th gear so I could rotate the output yoke and align the input shaft splines to the clutch disc.

The only problems I had was getting the bolts aligned on the transmission mount and I had to move the hoist chain from the #8 cylinder exhaust port to the #7 so I could clear the brake booster.

I've got so much to do now and so little time before Monday morning.

Gavin we were 10-0 in '15, 9-0 in '14 and 9-1 in '13 as 6th graders. We only lost the very first game we played a unit in 6th grade. We had 14 bad snaps and two fumbles. Lost 6-0 on a touchdown pass to the tight end with 3 seconds left in the game, but I'm not bitter or regretful at all. I don't know they exact number of points, but I heard a rumor that we didn't allow 70 points allowed on us in the 29 games we played. This was an incredible bunch of young men. It was so much fun!

Engine look pretty amazing in there

You got it Gavin. With records like that I certainly agree. I've added that title to his others. Long live the Coach!!

And I really like how you painter Mr FE and Mrs. tranny. Looks real good up against your Ford Blue firewall. Bet it'll sound even better.
