Gavin...great work as always! I haven't used a shop vac or a sheet before, but I sure have worn full chaps and still got burned all the time I'm a wimp too, but a stupid wimp, lol.
Looks good Gavin, I have used the shop vac to suck up shavings but you needs three hands.
...or an assistant.
I've run out of things to take off, bead blast and paint. Now I can start bolting parts on the frame.

Yeah, when I'm welding I wear ear plugs too. I hate getting a hot glob of slag in my ear.
I need to find out what my final ride height is before I can make the upper brackets for the air bags. Firestone and Air Lift makes a kit for bumps and dents but their mounting brackets are a little bigger than I liked so I just bought the air bags. I'm cheap too and the bags only cost $120 each.
Hey Tim, I was skimming through the 1 Page thread Monday night and saw the forks on the tractor, they look handy.....I am jealous.

Thanks Pat, the wood grain plastic sheet was rippled so I just hacked it out.

Nice work.
I got the specs. from the Ride-Rite web site. I have the Firestone 267C 1.5 model 6781.
Compressed Height 2.80"
Extended Height 8.30"
Ride Height 5.50"-6.50
I'd like to be at 6.50" with 5 psi in the bags, no load and a full fuel tank....and a black lab or two.
I did get some fuel and brake line clips printed today. The nub on the side is to hold the tail light wiring harness using a cable tie.
Howdy Roy, I have one in my office at work. It's a Makerbot Replicator 2. We use it to test component designs and make production parts.......and truck parts.
