Not much being done to the Bronco. I put a new larger fuel tank in it a while back, not much of a photo op though. Maria and I are headed to Florence Oregon next week for the Northwest Bronco Roundup along with 150 other Early Bronco's. I probably post pictures in the one page.
I have a retired body man lined up after the first of the year to work on the body. So something is going to happen this winter for sure.
Cool, I can't wait to see the picks. If you have a spare 8 grand lying around you could just get one of these. http://dennis-carpenter.com/BroncoBodyTub.aspx
They are proud of that tub.

ebay!
I got the drive shafts blasted...
hung up...
....and coated with Rust-Oleum Gloss Black "appearance modifier".
Thanks to Greg (Gembone) for that one!
Ordered the volt gauge last evening, and will haul it south with me in Oct... Meanwhile, the old truck, is at Edgar's for all new paint... Hope it doesn't end up as a "James Bondo", as Edgar is going to work on the roof drip rail, over the windshield...
Your drive shafts look super amigo. Have you ever had them balanced? After eating lots of U-joints, I did and it made all the difference...
I am surprised that you didn't paint them inside.....away from bugs and dust....like in the kitchen.........
Who's gonna pay for my hospital bill after my wifey the crap out me?
I didn't have any problems with bugs or dust.....but a bird put a lumpy white strip on one of them.

Thanks! Me too, once they're installed everything behind the cab will be finished!

LOL @ James Bondo! The intermediate and rear shafts are balanced. The front one needs to be balanced but this pavement princess is prolly never going to need or use it......plus it may be too short. So it's kinda ornamental right now.
Glad you had laugh amigo, and your paint booth is a lot like Edgar's, with less dirt. We have 3 paved road s in our town, so no pavement princess here. My driveway is the 4th longest road in town at 68 ft.

The paint booth works great if the wind is not blowing too hard.
I got a little work done on the tailgate this past weekend.
Installed the rest of the trim it was missing.
I got really lucky and all the holes lined up.
I didn't think the vertical trim was going to work very well on the curved surface.
It worked great!
I got tired of hearing all the crap rattling around inside the tailgate so I took out the latches and poked a hole in the bottom of the hinge pocket.....
I stuffed some bolts inside of the tailgate to knock off any more loose crap....
and dumped it out on the floor.
Removed all of the tailgate hardware, bead blasted and....
blackened them, then shot 'em with matte clear.
My son taped and painted the inside of the bumper.
I put it all back together tonight.
Rats! I still need to put on the reflectors that go below the taillights.
Gavin...great job on the tailgate. You do excellent work and I could never afford you. Thanks for sharing the news of your son. I'm really happy to hear that his knee is doing well! That's great news
