Your 'pavement princess' is looking sharp amigo. My 'Dirt Mongrel' needs some type of bullet proof front & rear mud flaps. Any recommendations?
BTW, HiO posted a photo of a very slick spare tire mod, with the tire "Frenched" into the bed, so it sits below the rail, on the driver's side. Jeff posted some factory mount options, but the tire shows above the rail, and takes up way more space...

Again, very nice work on the tailgate amigo..
Baja
You're right Baja. The factory set up was above floor. What I meant was using something like the factory bracket from bedside to the floor right next to the spare's well. The stud holding the spare to it real low, not up in the factory position.
Great news Gavin. Glad he has recovered. Is he still staying away from football?
He decided not to play and I am glad he did. I don't want to go through something like that again. He's turned into a gym rat this summer.

Congrats on 10K posts! He is doing great, although I don't get to see him much anymore since he has wheels.
Thanks for the complements buddy.......I work for beer.

I guess the 3 hole is what I need, but I like the looks of the 2 hole.
Thanks Jeff!
I'm such a n00b.

Baja
Thanks Baja! I need to look for some mud flaps myself. I think my tires are gonna be some rock chuckers.

Actually they have 4 holes. With the angle in that pic you just can't see the 4th one. The 2 holers aren't tall enough to match the tailgate mouldings.
I still have a Realistic 8 track player/recorder hooked to my stereo system in the living room!!!
Nothing brings back the ol days like hearing your favorite Eagles song play........then fade out..............then..............CLUNK.......... then music fades back in. Ahhh, perfect.
My first stereo had one built in. It also had a fast forward button, so you could replay a song without having to listen to the WHOLE track....
Have a brand spanking new underdash unit in a box in the garage. Had thoughts of getting it put in the Mack. Kinda fitting for the vintage.
You know Jeff keeps that elevator music on 8-track tapes.....
Now we'll see who knows what those are.....
Ha Ha Pat. How'd you know? You must remember how old I am. I can think of one even better. I'll see if I can find a pic on Google here in a minute.
Actually, I remember I had a AM FM 8 track in my 70 Plymouth Gran Coupe when I was a kid. Had bought a Grand Funk Railroad "quadraphonic" 8 track. https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...&v=lMsIrKjSM6Y. I have no clue how they got my STEREO player (AKA 2 channel) with 4 speakers to actually sound Quadraphonic. Pink Floyd did it also with their song "Money". The cash register sounds in the beginning of the song were awesome. Different sounds came from different speakers.
